Hating those white silent walls

When I was still a child, around 5 or 6, my papa always brings me to his office, in the hospital. He was a former hospital administrator, director, physician and all the blahs. His credential goes on and on. What can I say? He's great! I really look up to him as a father, doctor and everything that he is and was. Going back, he always brings us to his office and it's almost like a home to me and my older sister. ALMOST. Why? I will never feel at home in a hospital. It's creepy for me. I don't know why. The four white sides of every cubicle speaks of silence and uneasiness. Kinda makes me remember of those evil scientists and doctors in horror films. The ones with chainsaw in hand and injection in the other, lethal injection.

You might be asking why I'm saying this. You see, part of our requirement in a foreign exchange program is to have a physical exam. And so, we have to undergo these series of tests in the health service center. Most of the time, we are left to sit down and just stare. Literally. You have to wait for your turn in every consultation of course! They have the dental, x-ray, vaccination and the such. It was a long process and was quite draining. My butt hurt from sitting too much. Another reason to hate the hospital.

A very, very unusual day.

Today, I am happy and gay :D I don't know why but my hormones tell me to be happy. I just feel like singing la-la-la! Maybe that's the reason why it rained so hard. Some of my acquaintances have been on the road up to 10pm, just trying to get home. But I'm still happy despite the fact that I left my umbrella and I used my blazer as an umbrella. Why? I met new friends from Mediartrix. I got a new Mommy! You see in Mediartrix, they have this tradition that you'll have a senior member as a mother or father, so there! I got one. Teehee. I feel that I belong now. Aside from that, I accidentally bumped into Kyla Sy awhile ago. She was a real life-saver! Instead of being stranded on the jeep (the traffic was superb!), she offered me her LRT card. A real rescue! GMH. God bless her! Then this is the big deal, when we were about to hitch a ride, we accidentally (again) bumped into Nicole Ferrer, Alvin Reyes, Joemarie Famanila and the others! Nicole said she also accidentally (again and again) encountered Alvin and Joemarie. What a coincidence eh? Made me happy, super happy. Now, I'm singing, "I'M STRONGER THAN YESTERDAY!" Don't ask why.

What happened?

Honestly, I can't keep up with you. I miss you blog, Ha-ha!
I just noticed, I always rant about being busy, don't you think? =))

But anyway, I am here again, posting another entry :D

Let me see,...I think I really do missed a lot of events. Sorry if I was too slow to update. Ha-ha!

SPORTSFEST
I really thought this was hopeless. I mean, we are hopeless =)) Everyone doesn't seem to care if it is our LAST YEAR. No one seems to care of we were to become the first seniors to be LOSERS for four consecutive years. On the first day, we lose bigtime! Two games of basketball? Check. We lose that. Palaro ng lahi? Hmmm. Check. Some of it. Ha-ha! But anyway, thank you to you, juniors. Thank you for intimidating our dear batchmates. We couldn't have done it without your backbiting. XD WE WON! Oh yes, sweet victory! Sino ngayon ang talunan? =))

Everything's still vivid to me when it was the Awarding. Who is the over-all champion? THE SENIORS. Ha-ha!

GAZETTE
The gazette is, err, just about to be released next Tuesday. Due to many, MANY, factors, it took that long :( I dunno why. I think I'm a failure *sobs*

RETREAT
It was the best, SUPERR. I will miss my class, IV-St. Francis XD It was a good think I decided to catch up with the bus. Ha-ha! I ALMOST intentionally want to not join the whole retreat. Why? Personal and private issues :p All-in-all, it was the first and the best retreat. I'mma miss my roomates, Carina and Jz. All the sharing and everything.

STUDIES
Gaad! Help me, Lord! Ever since the third quarter started, I have been REALLY REALLY lazy. And when I say lazy, I mean it. Lazy = sleepy. For the record, I have been caught napping in class three times and that's just for one quarter! Stupid. Stupid. I should have known better, I need sleep, SERIOUSLY. My sleeping hours lasts for an average of 5 hours. Not good. What do I do? I stay up late overdoing things. Maybe I'm just too paranoid.

I don't what's the reason why I stay up late. The internet? Maybe, most probably. Studying? Nah. Overdoing things? Partly. I hate it! Aside from the fact that I have grown to be small. Really small, in terms of height. I sleep in class because of it. I can't help it. And what's worse is that my sleep hours fall on Physics and Trigo :| Dumb. Basically, I learn nothing from those subjects, almost. And oh, just add Eco. I have been dumber there. I got a 6 our of 15 score on that subject.

Oh, just help me not to fall asleep ;(

Oh, BITTERNESS
Guess what? I'm bitter. Bitter of what? Just guess. It's starts with H and ends with T

H-E-I-G-H-T

At 15, I am only standing at 4'11 and 3/4 BAAAD! =((
I DESPERATELY want to get tall. I used to remember back in first year when I was at the middle portion. And now, I am five places to the front. And I think the smaller people than I am are catching up. That's REALLY bad. :| I am sorry that I failed to take the seven-hour minimum sleep. I abused myself and I am sorry for that :(( Baaah. Help me get tall!

X.

Summing it all up.

See my last post? Antagal na no? :)) Natatamad na rin ako eh. Ha-ha!

I'mma tell you EVERYTHING that happened after that last post. ISANG BAGSAKAN mehn! XD

Of course we got through after that storm. Who would be writing now if I was washed away with Ondoy and Pepeng? :)) Everything was REGULAR after that. When I say regular, I really mean REGULAR. We had classes like we used to and we had the same projects with the same people. I studied, I reviewed overnight (Ha-ha! Not exactly cramming because I study days before but I try to remember and make sure I memorize things the night before :p), I completed requirements and projects. Almost fun-less. I'm not much of a party animal =)) nor am I a Facebook addict :)) Actually, I do have my FB. It's just that, I'm intending to use it next year. So, just add me up! :)) Para pagkagamit ko ng FB ko, poof! May Friends na agad ako =))

And oh yes, part of our requirements is our Church service ;p

We are having ours at Violago, somewhere near the school. Yeaaah. After some times of argument with my bestfriend, sa Violago din ang bagsak namen :)) All we have to do is attend the mass and well, sit around and we have 1 and a half hour per week! Easy? YESSS. It's just that we started pretty late and I think, I'm not sure, that we need to attend the annual Misa de Gallo just to catch up with the deadline. I can't imagine myself doing that! Waking up 3am just to attend mass. I'm not an avid church-goer you see. Bad ba? :)) Medyo. Ha-ha! Ewan ko ba! Since umalis si Papa, di na ako masyado pala-simba eh :)) Anyway, halos araw-araw na nga kame nagkikita ng mga ka-church service ko eh. Ha-ha! After ng mass, we'll go to Waltermart and EAT. Then, go home. If my instincts tell me to not to go home yet, I fetch Loren home. Ha-ha! Nakakatakot kase siya iwan ehh :)) Srsly. Once, a group of addict-looking men blocked our way in an arcade in Waltermart. And we were just two. What happened? Tinarayan lang nya :)) Then, when we went to Waltermart (again). On our way to the sakayan, a Trinitian (I mean, a squatter from Trinity. Promise! Naka-uniform ng Trinity eh. Ang squatter talaga! :|) was behind us. Akmang mang-yayakap. I saw him first. First reaction ko? Napamura ako. I said, "G*G*!" :)) OKAY. Masama yun but what do you expect? Ala namang sipain ko? :)) Pwede pero kase tumakbo agad ehh =)) Then...Before anything else, secret lang naten 'to ahh. Shhh! (So, secret pa pala 'to? :)) Eh lantaran na nga sa blog eh no? Tsaka kalat na rin naman sa section nila eh) There are speculations that one of our teachers are crushing on her. Weird? I know, I know. So unethical for a teacher. Pero speculations palang naman but it's better to be prepared than be surprised. So ayun, I'm just being protective ;D Wala naman kase sigurong gaganun sa akin di ba? XD

Then after the requirements, we had our EXAMS. Deadly mehn! I planned to review a week before that since we were exempted from the MAPEH exams :)) I'm not being boastful nor arrogant ha. Unfortunately, I did not follow my schedule. I was too busy with the requirements and I was too engrossed with Physics. I was solving problems over and over again :)) I wanna make sure I will get a grade higher that 88 in Physics :)) Until now, I couldn't believe I am on top with a grade of 88 in Physics, English and Trigonometry :)) I mean, Jomar had above 90 in those three MAJOR subjects. The hell! =)) Now, I do believe that MIRACLES really could happen XD

Then I also had my DLSUET. It was hard. Period. Ha-ha! I doubt I'm gonna pass that.

After the exams came the Teacher's week! Our TEACHER'S WEEK since it was already celebrated internationally weeks before :p So there. Guess in what subject was I assigned? XD I was first asked to be a teacher in Trigonometry. (Last year, I was assigned in Geometry. Ha-ha!) I was having second thoughts that time so it was assigned to Michelle. She deserves it more that I do. REALLY. I suck in Math :)) That's the reason why up to now, I dunno why I ever became a student-teacher in Geometry. Then, I was asked if I could do a stint in CFP. Me? A religion teacher?! The hell! :)) I'm not that much of holy person, sorry. And I was already taken that time :)) In thought I would land a role as a English teacher. But, no. Talagang hindi kame meant to be ng English. Ha-ha! Kahet sa course ko, ayaw ng parents ko ang related sa Literature and Journalism. Nice! In the end, I landed as an (Take note: "AN" It means it starts with a vowel :p)

...

ECONOMICS! See? Meant to be nga kame ng Commerce tsaka Business. =))

So there, I got the stint in Eco. Am I excited? Hmm...I couldn't say that I was really ecstatic. Actually, I was wishing that the Teacher's week be moved :)) Anyway, on the ACTUAL day of the event. I got a first period subject. Baaad! Mean. I was not even half-prepared. Good thing, we were just to check the exams :p I remember myself always looking at the watch and wishing that my one hour in their class is over :)) That continued for three days. Ha-ha! I managed to be a teacher for three days! THREE DAYS MAN! THREEE! XD And I wasn't the crappiest teacher around :P My classes in the first year were really FUNNY. For the first year, I wasn't the crappiest but for the fourth year? Uh...let's just say that business lessons are really boring :)) I admit, kahet ako, naboboringan ako sa tinuturo ko sa fourth year =)) Only a handful of students were listening in the other sections but sa IV-St. Francis? THE BEST! XD They really could make up funny things despite boring subjects. They lighten up the day :D I saw the difference. And they were listening. Unlike in the other sections, some are really plain bastos. You know, the ones who will go to you and say, "Wala ako natutunan sa'yo" or "Wala kang kwenta magturo". Yes, such creatures exist. They think you are in the same level as theirs. I'm not being air-headed or what but where's the respect, dude? Like, I am your teacher today and you are my student now. The hell! Wait, let me clarify. It should be "creature" and not creatures since of all the fourth years, only one told me that and he even said that in front of my eco teacher. Walang modo. Although it may seem harmless and even if it already normal in him pero ouch kaya. Do I need to make cartwheels just to get their attention? Nah. Don't expect me to make jokes or make people laugh. My sole responsibility is just to TEACH. It's up to them if they will listen. They are taking it for granted. And that's not my problem. In the end, I'm not really sure if I enjoyed it. I am still feeling bitter about that. But anyway, move on! Grabe! My life will not depend on those kind of people. Besides, my supervisor observed me in my first year class so I am expecting positive feedbacks :D Aside from I am expecting positive feedbacks about my teaching, I already recieved postive reviews about my wardrobe :)) YEAAH. I'm not a fashionista in any other way :)) Thank you to my sponsors: Ate Kim, Mama and Loren =)) For the first day, I wore this seemingly over-sized white blouse c/o Loren over a hmmm...how will I describe this? A pin-striped pants? It's a bit of vintage to me. And also, I wore big, black beads c/o my sister ;) And oh, in those three days, I wore a black three-inch high Esprit wedge shoes, also from my sister. Ha-ha! For the second day, I wore this red and blue plaid blouse from my sister (again) over a black pants. For the accesories, I wore my black-rimmed glasses and a butterfly necklace :D Kewl? REALLY KEWL. For the third day, I got this loose black blouse that had 3/4 sleeves from the cabinet. And wore a belt to accentuate the hips :)) Plus white pants! There! First time ko gumanon =)) Last year, I wore ordinary blouses with different shades of colors. Lumalande? OO! :))

Currently, it's our break. A week-long break. Supposedly, we were to go to the Himlayan Cemetery but we cancelled it due to some circumstances. So now, all I do is to: EAT, SLEEP, check UPDATES via the internet and EAT, SLEEP and so on...

"I DECLARE A MARTIAL LAW!"

Behold, the last day of the week, FRIDAY! :D I haven't noticed it myself but, hey, bukas na pala ang UPCAT ahh =))

Psst! May kwento pala ako :)) hihi. It was lunch time and as expected, I went loitering and classroom-hopping. It's already a habit! :D I eat in Maxi, made chit-chats in Maxi and well, just sit in there. Ampunin nyo na nga ako, Maxi! =)) Kaso hindi rin, mahal ko ang Francis ehh. :p HAHAHA! Yikee! Anyways, that was 10 minutes before the time so I decided to stay a bit longer than the usual with Carina :)) Actually, I was to borrow a calculator but it was already with someone else. I haven't noticed that it was already 12:25pm, only 5 minutes before the bell rings and it's FRIDAY! Gaaad! Hindi nyo kase alam kung ano meron sa Maxi pag Friday ehh. MARTIAL LAW, men~ It's like this, every Friday, Ms. Cachapero makes it a point to drop by in Maxi to see how they are. Ang sweet no? :)) But Maxi, really playful as they are, was in a mess! LOOOL! There were pieces of paper everywhere, chairs were in disarray and worst of all, may people from other sections went classroom-hopping! (Including us: Carina & Me. hihi) And so, the weekly Martial Law BEGINS! =))

Okay, we were there. We have just entered the classroom when BOOM! She was standing by the door with those beady eyes, eyes that were fuming. Naturally, nagsipagtakbuhan kame :)) Estudyante ehh, ano bang laban namen kung magtatapang-tapangan kameng sumagot? Di ba? Di ba? Mas malaking gulo yun! We quickly scampered to the nearest seats. Luckily, we got two seats in the front row, a bit far from where she stands. And, we were also in PE uniform! The same with Maxi~ Parang Maxi na rin kame. HAHAHA! While the others, who were in uniform, were reprimanded for classroom-hopping, we stayed behind. Baka sakaling umalis sya at makatakas kame nang di nakikita =)) But no, HINDI EHH. A looong sermon followed. I felt as if Marcos himself was standing just meters away, saying, "I AM DECLARING A MARTIAL LAW IN MAXIMILLIAN." Grabeeee. Hindi ako makakilos. It's as if Carina and I were statues, sitting there with no movement or whatsoever. We were trapped and stuck! O.O We were even stopping our breathing while they were already controlling their laughter, for God's sake! Kame naman ay tulirong-tuliro. LOOOL! Nakakahiya! I can't help but mouth words like, "sh****t!." Mahuli ka ba naman na ganun? 'Tas sa diname-dame ng teachers, si Ms. Cachapero pa! GAAAD. After a few minutes (which seems to be an eternity for us two, I was already trembling in my seat that time for the fear that I might get noticed and eventually, get scolded as well for being caught doing things that musn't be done), she went out :D I thought that it would be our GREAT ESCAPE! But, what the!? Bigla syang lumingon! WHADDA?! I can still vividly remember na nagka-eye-to-eye contact pa kame ni Ms. Cachapero habang nagmamadali akong tumakbo papunta likod. GAAAD! And I can see in her eyes that she was surprised, flabbergasted and at the same time, natatawa?!? I dunno, bigla syang napangiti eh. Siguro natawa sya sa pagtakas namen =)) Ganun ba katawa ang facial expression ko pag nate-tense? LOOOL! *makes an anxious expression* HAHAHA! When we opened the door, FREE AT LAST! Dun na nagsipagtakbuhan papasok ng classroom ang latecomers ng Maxi at nadapa pa nga si Maxi (the student, not the section. LOL!) ehh. :)) Habang si Carina ay nagmamadaling bumalik sa classroom, I can't help but say sorry to Ms. Cachapero. I was already expecting a scolding from her and a stern expression pero hindi ehh! Good mood pa nga ata sya nun ehh. LOOL! In just a minute, ganda na ng aura =)) I told her that my real intention was to borrow a calculator to which she replied, "Oh, go ahead and borrow a calculator." Pinapanuod kame ng Maxi habang nagso-sorry kay miss at I can say na tuwang-tuwa sila. MASYADO MALIGALIG EHH. Eh biglang dumating si Ms. Tubaga, sinermonan nanaman sila, BUTI NGA! =)) LOOOL! Yan kase ehh :P

Men, nakakahiya talaga! Wala na kameng kadala-dala ni Carina, weeks before, we were also trapped in Maxi for the same reason, NAHULI KAME NUN. LOOOL~! At ngayon, naulit nanaman =)) Buti nalang lagi kame nakakalusot :)) Di pa rin ako maka-getover. LOOOL!

I think Carina and I deserve a round of applause from Maxi for providing effective and REAL entertainment to the students~ HAHA! Just a suggestion :D

Lovelots,

Worst storm, ever!

GAAAD. It's been sooo long since I've last blogged. *checks last post*. I miss blogging~ REALLY. My supposedly stress-free school year plan didn't turn out fine. HAHAHA! Okay, probably you're asking what this "stress-free school year plan" is all about. Since I'm in my fourth and last year in the department (Yes, I'll be graduating this school year. Goodbye to St. Jo!), I decided to plan EVERYTHING!!! :D I know it seems to be absurd and it also sounds pointless 'cause everyone I know knows that I'll ditch it in the long run. HAHA! Me, being such a very impatient creature~ But well, I dunno, it just came into my mind that I need to organize. Everyone needs to anyway. And so, the "stress-free school year plan" was conceived.

1. Study everyday. Actually, it was quite effective in the first week...when there was hardly any lessons to be studied. LOOOL~!
2. Save. Don't spend. This too was effective during the first three weeks but eventually, expenses came in unexpectedly.
xerox- references, quizzes, seatworks. Name them! Those machines can be lifesavers but sometimes I just can't help but curse them for making me spend more and be lazy.
projects- It's really heartbreaking when you burn cash for a project you think is the most perfect masterpiece you've ever made and then the next day, you'd see it in a trash bin, thrown by your oh-so appreciative teacher :|
college entrance exam forms- I never knew it would be this bloody expensive. When you need a certification of candidacy for graduation, pay 60php to the registrar. When you need a certificate of being on top of your class, another 60php. When you need your school records, another 60php. Add your transportation when you go to these schools plus other expenses!
food- We all know food is a basic necessity especially when you've got that appetite so BIIIG~
class expenses- Well.., even sections have their governments. And taxes too!
badminton practices- gaad. Every saturday we spend a hefty 200 php to play in a court with a taraflex. What's in those bloody blue taraflexes that it costs us hundreds every practice session? :((
recreation- Sometimes, I need to reward myself you know :)) I'M HUMAN! HAHAHA!
3. Every saturdays, I'll find time and spend the rest of my day reading. Basically, my saturdays were all hectic and I still cannot find time to do this :|
4. Sleep before 10pm to get the required 8 hours of sleep. Imposssible :((
5. Be pimple-free. Actually, it became worser than ever! D: IT'S PIMPLE-FUL!
6. Have the FORMAL gazette meetings every thursday. It's not what I have expected. Nothing is going the way I wanted it to be :((((
OMG-OMG. Senior life is definitely taking a toll on me. THIS IS THE WORST HIGH SCHOOL STORM, ever!

First impressions never last.

So probably, I made a wrong impression but who could blame me?

*That was early in the morning when Alyssa and me were walking on the corridor. She happen to be ahead of me because I am so preoccupied talking to someone*

Ms. Cachapero: ...You are the student and I am the teacher so you should know how to greet first! Can you not say good morning?!...BLAAAH~!

Alyssa and Deo were dumbfounded and speechless. And me, being so naive, approached Alyssa without knowing they were in the midst of a sermon. And so, I was also scolded :| But I was not aware of it ahh.

Ms. Cachapero: ...I'll wait till you reach the fourth year!

Sh*t.

But many said she was already retiring, so I did not even half-expected that she would become our English-slash-Public Speaking teacher!

OKAY. That was a bad start for meeting your teacher for the next ten months in two subjects . But gaad! It was NOT my fault. LOL! TERROR. That is all I could say.

But hey! It's not so bad after all. I dunno. Just awhile ago, I was unconciously loving her (as my teacher. duh!), or should I say "it"? I mean, I do love English subject! It's just the teacher but, err, it's kind of peculiar that I'm starting to love her as my teacher. AFTER ALL OUR "HISTORY"?!?! (maybe she forgot all about it :D) I did not expect to even have a feeling of slight bliss during her class. LOL! Anyway, as a saying goes, the more you hate, the more you love. HAHA! I also found myself excited about the whole english thing. You know, mythology. I sooo love it~! Especially Athena, Hercules Achilles and all those mythology pips. They are not greek to me anymore! I just love reading all about them :) And also the Norse mythology, the one with Odin in it. And another thing that makes me go gaga is the monologue. Acting and speeches~ I am so looking forward to it. I'll dress up like this and say that. woot~ Then there's the one-act play. I CAN'T WAIT. seriously. I want a remake of the Twelfth Night. A BETTER ONE! HAHA! And probably, just probably, my designation as the EIC helped build the rapport. Yeah~ The english subject and the school publication have something in common, right?

Anyway, I shouldn't only speak of English. That would be very, very BIASED.
I'll post about the others, SOON :D

Out of bitterness.

Yesterday, that was May 12, was a good day! XD I dunno why but I'll list down what I did that day.

In the morning, we played badminton although I did not enjoyed it much as before. It was just fine. Probably because Amoranto lacked badminton courts.x| I went home after that. I took a short nap afterwards, I'm tired men! HAHA! When I woke up, everything's in order. No one's angry at me, I did not do any chores, No one's ordering me to do things! XD And I finished reading "The Confessions of a Shopaholic" by Sophie Kinsella. It's a fab! HAHAHA! I got that from the book. It really is. I liked it a lot! Not too much dramatic, just light drama. And I also liked their expressions! There's "bloody" and "blimey!" I don't think I'll use those though. I'm not much of a good speaker.x)

I never felt so contented for a long time! But I forgot,... the entrance exams! That ruins everything! x| I badly want to have those. I just knew that morning that a hefty lot of people are having it, FROM OUR CLASS! Can you just imagine it! They are already in the star section! GAWD~! And they are still reviewing despite the summer spirit. It definitely beats the meaning of summer vacation, right? Besides, it costs a bloody 5k to 9k! I can't afford that much. Why am I so bloody bitter? Oh blimey! Forget about it! The question is, who will pass? *sighs* And also, I don't really expect much from myself, I'm contented with UST--I want to study there because of fra-la-la! LOOL~! XD

my 20/20 vision.x|

According to the latest count, I have already lost 3 eyeglasses. LOL~! The last one was was eventually destroyed because it fell from the top of the auditorium (MDA), where confetti are being thrown all over the stage, to the stage itself. Thanks a lot to the person I asked to keep it for me.x| It was distorted. Everytime I wore it before, it looks so crooked. But anyways, I wore it. HAHAHA~! That is until it became part of my list, my list of missing glasses. XD Yeah, I am a sort of burara with my things. LOL~! I don't want to wear those freakin' glasses all the time and look like a nerd with them on. And oh, it's already been a year that I'm not wearing those.x) I'm already used to it but with another school year to come, I must have another pair. I MUST! XD

So, I went to some ophthalmologist. Do you know what she said? GAWD~! She knew that I'm using a computer for more than 5 hours, been watching TV shows just inches away from the TV, and all that blah-blah~! LOOOL~! I was surprised, how the hell did she even have known those things? Probably most of her patients were with the same case. XD She also told me my right eye is really weak x| compared to the left one. GAWD~! Oooh, when I just thought that I'd like to have that perfect 20/20 vision.

I'll be wearing my nerdy glases, SOON.x|

thinks of vectors.

"me thinks i suck at vector art"

HAHAHA~! I just hate that grammar. LOOOL~! Using me instead of I and adding -s when it is supposed to be think.x) Maybe that's the reason why I'm so irritated at Lica when she speaks. She'd say, "Pwede na me magcomputer?" when she could just say, "Pwede na ba ako magcomputer?" As if she already knows how to send text messages, she doesn't even own a 3210 Nokia Phone. LOL~! Even if she already knows how to, I'll hate her for using that.xp Ooohh.., I hate myself for being such a fault-finder. HAHAHAHA~! XD

Anyway, I was not supposed to talk about grammar. Rather, I'm blogging about vector~! Mind you, it's not the one in physics nor in the mathematics or any other -ics.x) But as I found out, the two are interrelated. O.o Weird. According to wikipedia, "vector graphic is the use of geometrical primitives such as points, lines, curves, and shapes or polygon(s), which are all based on mathematical equations, to represent images in computer graphics". Somehow, it made sense to me. LOL! It is alot more better than raster images. Btw, raster images are images (LOOOL~!) that makes use of pixels rather than shapes. I cannot imagine myself and I will never attempt to make an image using pixels. It will take me months to create the perfect picture! HAHAHAHA~! With vector art, it might only take hours.x) Probably, if you're a noob (kidding! XD), you might not know what a vector graphic looks like. It looks like these...

Left: A complicated vector art. It looks so good.

Right: A simple one but still, I couldn't produce anything near that. psh.

As you might see, it's simply kewl! I want to make one~! And I've watched a tutorial on how to make one. It looks so simple. It's like connect the dots x) except for the fact that you will be connecting thousands of dots! And it should be accurate. Aside from that, you'll be using various brushes. It annoys me a lot! Especially the part where there's facial hair and the fair itself. Demmet! I can't get it right. It looks so absurd and somewhat, abnormal.x| And I'll warn you about the eye part. That's the hardest for me. The eye lashes and eye itself makes me go nuts. But the shadows and shades of the face are relatively easy.x) But I still suck at it.x|

I wish I can use a drawing tablet.x| I'm sick of using this stupid mouse. LOL~! But prices for the drawing tablet ranges from 550php to thousands. And to think that that 550php gives you a cheap one, I'd rather save my allowance for the one costing thousands. Good quality and wide space for drawing~! But I don't want to trade that for my graduation gift. I can't seem to think any good use of it except for vectoring. Hmm...

Lovelots,

those stupid review centers.

I’m panicking. Almost everyone is applying for an entrance exam review and I’m not. Although I have convinced a few people who were supposed to have that stupid review to cancel it, I think I’m regretting it. I was able to convince them with my monkey talk. It goes like this, “Do you know what you are paying for there? It’s the discipline. If you have the will to study, you will really study as if there’s no tomorrow. If you are lazy and is already enrolled in those stupid review centers, you will think of the money involved. You’ve already paid so you’ve got no choice but to go there”. As simple as that but I did convince them to not go. How’s that? XD When I thought I’ll be fine that I will not take up that…I reckon I’ll not gonna be fine. Jomar’s having it, Michelle really had plans to spend her summer there and knowing Jan Wray, he too might be going there. But what about me? Saan na ako pupulutin nyan? I don’t want my college life to revolve around E.Rod! GAWD~! I don’t like to be stuck in St. Jo nor in Trinity. I WANT SOMETHING NEW~! I’m not the adventurous-type but I really want to escape the long avenue of E. Rod. All my student life, I’m stuck there. I haven’t really been to places that much. Except when I sneak out of the house and made excuses to meet people.x) I do that. HAHA~! But not all the times, maybe once or twice. *grin*

Anyways, I dunno how I will start to study, intensively. I’m too lazy to hit the books right now. As a matter of fact, I’ve answered the review book without even studying.x) I called it a “pre-test”. My answers were only of pure stock knowledge. I haven’t flipped a book or anything. I let my instinct and my guts guide me as I encircled letters. So far, my scores were really bad. For the Mathematics portion, I scored 8 out of 40. LOOOL~! It was 1/5 of the perfect score. Way out of the passing score. I know Math is really not my forte. It sucks~! And I suck with numbers. It took me a week-long review before I got my average scores in Geometry and what makes me wonder is why the hell am I picked as the student teacher in GEOM?! WTF?! It was like, “oh yeah~! As if she doesn’t have any other good choice”. Whatever the reason, I hate numbers and probably, I’ll drop off Accountancy in my choices of what course should I take up. After the Math exam, now comes the Science. I thought, “Probably I’ll score half of this”. I was wrong. I got 20 out of 59. I was baffled. How could I answer so many of these questions wrong? I knew I did well in Science, somehow. But probably my stock knowledge wasn’t enough. My brain cannot stock all those. Moving on, although disheartened, I took the language proficiency exam. I know I’ll score that easily! Words are my flair. They come to me naturally and I did not fail me. I am proud to announce that I scored 55 out of 85 in that exam~! That is without even turning a page of neither my English book nor notebook. LOOOL~! I LOVE ENGLISH! Sir Pac really did help a lot, I should say. Although sometimes he hates me for being too inquisitive and for being such a fault-finder.x) It was like trekking a miles and finally reaching the summit! But I assumed too early, there was another set of exams! O.o Nosebleed men! Once again, I readied my scratch papers for math solutions but it did not help, not at all. MEN~! Di ko alam kung paano sila i-so-solve. It was like “When the gasoline gauge of an auto is 1/8 full, 14 gallons is needed to BLAAH~!” I hate those kinds of questions. So puzzling. Wish me luck~!

knee pain attack.

Right now, I’m suffering from knee pains. It all started when I was still in Grade two. I remember twitching in my chair because of the pain. It was so hard being in a classroom with the lessons going and you, feeling all the pain. All I did was to put my head down. Back then, I was too young and I just kept that secret to myself. Sometimes, I put painkillers and all that stuff to ease the pain. Somehow, it did soothe me. As years passed by, I thought I was over it. Not until a year ago. There were nights I find myself awake in the middle of the night. Awake because of the pain. I suspected I got arthritis but the doctors brushed away that thought and said it was a simple muscle pain, that’s all. I regret that we shelled out 500php for a x-ray and a consultation. Painkillers and medicol lang pala ang katapat. Psh. The days and months that followed were better. I was able to join the varsity and all that athletic stuff. I’m still keeping up with it.

This week, I felt it again and am still feeling it. I don’t know what triggered it. Every day since we had that argument, I am always in pain during evenings. Aside from that, something’s growing in my eyelid. Parang kuliti nanaman. Ampf! Di naman ako namboboso kaya! Badtrip! But right now, I think it’s starting to stop swelling. Actually, it’s almost gone. I make sure I wash my face every now and then.x)

i hate this.x|

puppy love.

All of us might vaguely, if not vividly, remember those younger years when we had our err, uh, first love? It drew butterflies to other stomachs, made countless hot afternoons bearable and filled our minds with daydreaming of, well, tying the knot. Considering the young age, it is inevitable that one will already look at the future too fast, too naive.

Little Johnny and Susie are only kids, but they just know that they are in love. One day they decide that they want to get married, so Johnny goes to Susie's father to ask him for her hand.
Johnny bravely walks up to him and says, "Mr. Smith, me and Susie are in love and I want to ask you for her hand in marriage."
Thinking that this was the cutest thing, Mr. Smith replies, "Well Johnny, you are only 10. Where will you two live?"
Without even taking a moment to think about it, Johnny replies, "In Susie's room. It's bigger than mine and we can both fit there nicely."
Still thinking this is just adorable; Mr. Smith says with a huge grin, "Okay then how will you live? You're not old enough to get a job. You'll need to support Susie."
Again, Johnny instantly replies, "Our allowance...Susie makes 10 bucks a week and I make 20 bucks a week. That's about 120 bucks a month, and that should do us just fine."
By this time Mr. Smith is a little shocked that Johnny has put so much thought into this. So, he thinks for a moment trying to come up with something that Johnny won't have an answer to.
After a second, Mr. Smith says, "Well Johnny, it seems like you have got everything all figured out. I just have one more question for you. What will you do if the two of you should have little ones of your own?"
Johnny just shrugs his shoulders and says, "Well, we've been lucky so far..."

It is a bit err, rude but I did find it cute at first. That is what I got when I searched for "marrying + kid jokes". Anyway, I hope you get the picture. That is what young love brings. I can't help but laugh whenever I remember myself...uh, let's stop here. Enough with the details.x)

I was so thrilled with my younger sister. She had this playmate named Miguel. I dunno what's with them but they look cute.x) And yeah! They do show some signs which are somewhat disturbing O.o

How it all started?

*Shanice goes to mama & tells her something*
Shanice: Mama!
Mama: Yes Shanice?
Shanice: Mama, na-hug ako ni Miguel. Ganito o. (makes a hugging action)

We found it quite normal at first since they were kids, not until the second time around.

*Shanice goes to mama & tells her something, again*
Shanice: Mama!
Mama: Yes Shanice?
Shanice: Mama, na-kiss ako ni Miguel dito. (points to her cheek)
Mama: Shanice, wag ka magpapakiss o magpapahug kay Miguel. Okay?
Shanice: *nods*

It never did happened again but it seems that Shanice became attracted to the boy...

Whenever she hears the kids outside playing, she wants to go out. If not allowed, she'll be throwing tantrums. If still, she is not heard or heeded, she would open the window and peek. Then, she will be calling her playmates, "Hi Miguel, Hi Avri..." Desperate. Just awhile ago, she went inside just to say, "Mama, na-horse Miguel" which meant if we could lend her rocking horsey toy to Miguel. Now that's really weird. I knew her for being so possessive and madamot then she suddenly starts to let Miguel borrow her toys?

And all along, during supper, she would be telling stories about her playmates, especially Miguel, although I don't really understand a word except Derrick, Avri, Celio and Miguel. Really freaky. That's puppy love, I guess. It changes you.

April 21. Something to remember.

In just 24 hours, a lot of things happened. It's just so fast that I did not notice it. Time really does fly fast.

April 21. It should be memorable, for us. It was the birthday of Papa. And he was soooo far away. He's in Canada, working as a nurse. But despite that, he keeps track of us and even monitors us. How? With Skype and cellphone. LOOL~! Pag di kame nakaOL sa Skype, tatawag yan sa telepono. Ang mahal ng charge dun ah, roaming kase. He is really a good father to us and husband to my mama. He's also the disciplinarian-type. You can't make him laugh that easily at kapag galit, talagang galit. HAHAHA! I remember one time, yung sa bayantel, talagang sigawan sila sa telepono. sooobra. It was not the same without him around. Hard? Yes. It was the first time that he'll be celebrating his birthday away from home and us. We can't feel the happy spirit, neither did he. It was just like any other ordinary day. Actually, I was even scheduled to play badminton that day. The night before, we presented a video. Yeah! We made our own music video of Home by Westlife. The artists? us. The cameraman-slash-director? me. HAHAHA~! It turned out well. It made Papa cry a little and we also cried. LOL! Nakakaiyak kase. First time. It was a sentimental night for all of us. Anyway, also, that morning, Jazmine's lolo died. Nakakaguilty. But why am I guilty? I was already told last Saturday that lolo was already nearing his err, death. But I was too confident that he'll make it through although he was already in the ICU. I did not bother to visit him last Saturday. By Sunday, Jazmine asked me again if I'll come. She said that this might be the last time I'll ever see him again, the last. Maybe my next visit will already be during the burial. I said I can't because I don't know how to get as far as Taft Ave. He was confined in Medical Center Manila near U.N. Ave. and it was too far aside from the fact that I don't know how to get there. That time, lolo was already asking if I could come since he's having the feeling that he will not last long. Monday. I was already the one begging if I could come, but I can't. My sister's supposed to go to UERM to enroll. If my mama will accompany me, no one will be left home to be with my siblings. GAWD! I was feeling sorry and guilty all at the same time. There is no way I can get there. I hope he understands. That day was his last day. He had multiple organ failures and leukemia, his willing power was the only thing that makes him live and he gave up. He can't survive that long. Out of the 6 patients in the ICU, he was the last to give up. Tuesday. So, this was really April 21. I was playing badminton that morning. By noon, it was raining really hard and we sheltered in Stefanie's home. Cedhez received a message that lolo passed away but I did not although I was mentioned in that text, that lolo was looking for me but I did not come. It was a guilty feeling. I think, the rain is also mourning, crying :(( That same afternoon, we had an adventure. Kame ni Cedhez. HAHA! Since it was raining hard and we had to leave, sinugod namen ang ulan! btw, we don't have any umbrellas with us. HAHAHA! Mga baliw kame.x)

At sinong di aawit kapag umulan,
At sinong di mababaliw sa ulan
At sinong di mapapasayaw sa ulan,
At sinong di mababaliw sa ulan
ULAN, ULAN, ULAN~!
YEAH! nabaliw kame sa ulan kaya sinugod namen siya. Nakakamiss. I was around 5 y/o when I last had my shower in the rain. Masaya. I don't know that gotten into us that we instantly, without thinking, walked out of the house. I had my badminton for cover and Cedhez had her shirt for protection. Bawal magkasakit.x) So, we walked from Magnolia St. (Roxas District) to KFC E.Rod. REALLY FAR but it was fun. HAHAHA! We talked about random things, about college, courses, the future! We did not mind the rain. At least hindi mainet, sooobrang lamig lang. Kaso, wala kame ka-hug eh. HAHAHAHA! Kidding.x) The road was also quite slippery that time, nakakatakot maglakad lalo sa bridge. But we made it through. When we caught sight of KFC, there was a crewman waiting to open the glass door for us. GLASS DOOR men! Kitang-kita na basang-basa kame at nagpupunas pa. HAHAHA! Siguro inisip nun, "Hayy, isa na namang magpapalamig. Lagi nalang sa amin pumupunta 'tong mga 'to. Di naman bibili..." NAKAKAHIYA! HAHAHA! Ewwiness. Joke!x) So ayun nga, pumasok kame at may gumulantang sa amin, soobrang nakakhiya. Bakit kaya sila andun? Hmmm... Anyways, sarado pa ang 2nd floor so sa first floor kame, kitang-kita! LOOL~! After 30 mins., we left, fast! Unahan sa pinto, parang walang nangyari. Di na nga tumayo yung crewman kanina eh, di na kami pinagbuksan ng pinto. Siguro alam nya talaga...XD We bid each other goodbye and we left. Cedhez, salamat sa company mo. Masaya talaga ang adventure. Sugod ulet tayo sa ulan? XD
