Falcon attacks!

Last night was the worst night ever. Two hours of traffic along Espanya and E. Rodriguez and one hour of barefoot triathlon along Araneta Ave. What's worst is that my three-inch heels was stolen by the water rapids!

After Egay was done raping the country, here comes another typhoon named Falcon who is pretty much interested to do much larger harm. Though Signal 1 wasn't even raised in Metro Manila, weather was so bad that winds were frightfully strong outside and rain was pouring so severely. It wasn't just rain and winds, mind the temperature too! It's 26 °C. I don't need to turn on my electric fan now, which is a semi-good thing.

There might be just an ambon, but the winds are moving like the Flash.
According to PAGASA, Falcon was the fourth tropical storm that is currently trolling in the country. By trolling, I mean, walking and not just passing. The storm's so slow which makes it stronger. The slower the storm, the stronger it gets. And right now, news says that just got an upgrade when it merged with another Low Pressure Area. Many places in the metro were flooded as rain poured continuously and without fail. Areas such as Espanya and Sta. Mesa. Araneta Ave. was even submerged in flood, literally!

Temperature was really low that fog covers the whole of Sta. Mesa
What was more frustrating besides the typhoon is CHED. PAGASA (Or sometimes, we fondly call it PAASA) is not to blame this time around. What about CHED? They handle all the class suspensions in all college levels and they didn't even mind to cancel our classes despite the heavy flooding and  the strong winds! Well, actually, they did suspend but it was already about 5pm. So what's the use? With all the jeepneys filled with people, we had a hard time looking for a transportation. It was already a struggle going home. Some even decided to have an overnight in school rather than take a hike going home. What is hassle?

All my things are wet! My iPod was spared though.

Even my planner :( Bad day. This.

Newly-bought book in Marketing worth 800php was trashed!

I'll be really lucky if my cellphone will still work

When another Falcon attacks, be safe and prepared.
A Falcon, literally. lol

Falling out of places

When I get really, really disappointed, I cry. I don't know why my natural defense mechanism is like that. A bit weak. I don't curse people though, that's a good thing. I cry and just let it out, all that disappointment. It's always like this, you feel so ecstatic, happy and enthusiastic for a moment then the next thing you know, everything's falling out of their places again. You become so down, irritated and disappointed. There are friends telling you things which apparently are really jokes yet what they say are sometimes annoying and a bit hurting when said over and over again; parents tell you they support you but when you are actually begging for their supposed-to-be support, they'll question you about it, all together asking you to back-out from your endeavor. I'm not this bipolar person as I seem to be. It is really just natural for me to get hurt sometimes, when I feel I'm being bullied or something near that. Or with the case of my parents, I can't get their support for something that really means a lot to me.

I can't get things my way, I know.

FML, College.

You certainly FML.

I've got no time to write all about the good stuff yet I can stay up really late to type down how ASDF!@#!$@!$ every passing day becomes. Ironic. College sucks. Well, the adjustment part, it is. I miss my friends. It's not that I do not have friends in college. No, no. I've got a lot of them but it's really different when a person REALLY knows who and what you are. And these people are my highschool friends. They are awesome, the most awesome set of friends I could ever have! There is never a dull moment when I'm with them. I can act the way I wanted without having to think if what I'm doing is fine for them. I can say things, random things and we can talk hours about it. It's just endless. But don't get me wrong, I'm sooo alright with my block. Something's just really missing :( I can't explain. I just can't. You know those times when you feel like you can't really share some things because you're afraid they will judge you, those times when you and your newfound friend just can't say a thing and there's only an eerie silence between you? I can't ignore it. It's really different.

But what I hate the most is the academic pressure. Ugh. What I dread the most is being stressed because of a self-imposed pressure. I feel like there's a competition within me. I'm against myself. Part of me tells that I should be contented. While the other half says I must strive to go for the top. Have you ever felt the same? You want to get on top yet you're really lazy to get moving. Wait. I'm actually exerting an effort but, well, sometimes you can't always have things your way even if you put all my effort into it and maybe that's how it's gonna be. It's a big, big, big world anyway. Maybe I'll fit in somewhere, somewhere where I'll have my way. Maybe it's not in UST, maybe it's not here. I'll dream for what I can aspire, reach for what I can see and go for what I believe in.

So help me, God.

What happened?

Honestly, I can't keep up with you. I miss you blog, Ha-ha!
I just noticed, I always rant about being busy, don't you think? =))

But anyway, I am here again, posting another entry :D

Let me see,...I think I really do missed a lot of events. Sorry if I was too slow to update. Ha-ha!

SPORTSFEST
I really thought this was hopeless. I mean, we are hopeless =)) Everyone doesn't seem to care if it is our LAST YEAR. No one seems to care of we were to become the first seniors to be LOSERS for four consecutive years. On the first day, we lose bigtime! Two games of basketball? Check. We lose that. Palaro ng lahi? Hmmm. Check. Some of it. Ha-ha! But anyway, thank you to you, juniors. Thank you for intimidating our dear batchmates. We couldn't have done it without your backbiting. XD WE WON! Oh yes, sweet victory! Sino ngayon ang talunan? =))

Everything's still vivid to me when it was the Awarding. Who is the over-all champion? THE SENIORS. Ha-ha!

GAZETTE
The gazette is, err, just about to be released next Tuesday. Due to many, MANY, factors, it took that long :( I dunno why. I think I'm a failure *sobs*

RETREAT
It was the best, SUPERR. I will miss my class, IV-St. Francis XD It was a good think I decided to catch up with the bus. Ha-ha! I ALMOST intentionally want to not join the whole retreat. Why? Personal and private issues :p All-in-all, it was the first and the best retreat. I'mma miss my roomates, Carina and Jz. All the sharing and everything.

STUDIES
Gaad! Help me, Lord! Ever since the third quarter started, I have been REALLY REALLY lazy. And when I say lazy, I mean it. Lazy = sleepy. For the record, I have been caught napping in class three times and that's just for one quarter! Stupid. Stupid. I should have known better, I need sleep, SERIOUSLY. My sleeping hours lasts for an average of 5 hours. Not good. What do I do? I stay up late overdoing things. Maybe I'm just too paranoid.

I don't what's the reason why I stay up late. The internet? Maybe, most probably. Studying? Nah. Overdoing things? Partly. I hate it! Aside from the fact that I have grown to be small. Really small, in terms of height. I sleep in class because of it. I can't help it. And what's worse is that my sleep hours fall on Physics and Trigo :| Dumb. Basically, I learn nothing from those subjects, almost. And oh, just add Eco. I have been dumber there. I got a 6 our of 15 score on that subject.

Oh, just help me not to fall asleep ;(

Oh, BITTERNESS
Guess what? I'm bitter. Bitter of what? Just guess. It's starts with H and ends with T

H-E-I-G-H-T

At 15, I am only standing at 4'11 and 3/4 BAAAD! =((
I DESPERATELY want to get tall. I used to remember back in first year when I was at the middle portion. And now, I am five places to the front. And I think the smaller people than I am are catching up. That's REALLY bad. :| I am sorry that I failed to take the seven-hour minimum sleep. I abused myself and I am sorry for that :(( Baaah. Help me get tall!

X.

La Salle, it is.

For La Salle, I went to Taft all by myself

For La Salle, I went to Taft all by myself that I almost got lost

For La Salle, I went to Taft all by myself that I almost got lost because I'm not used to riding MRTs and LRTs

For La Salle, I went to Taft all by myself that I almost got lost because I'm not used to riding MRTs and LRTs which I was forced to ride because of the waist-high flood in Espanya

For La Salle, I went to Taft all by myself that I almost got lost because I'm not used to riding MRTs and LRTs which I was forced to ride because of the waist-high flood in Espanya, but in the later part, I got a taste of what it feels to plunge yourself in a flood that ceased a little that it reached somewhere above my knees.

FOR LA SALLE! ANIMO LA SALLE! LOOOOL!

So far, this was the most bizarre thing I've underwent for my college application.

7am - I woke up to prepare everything I need to bring

8am - Wasted time doing nothing, waiting for mama to arrive from the market

9am - I am off to DLSU! To start with, news reached me that UST was flooded waist-high! *sigh* Unfortunately, the only route I know going to La Salle is the one passing, gulp!, passing UST :(( and another unfortunate thing is, the only option is to ride a LRT which I am not acquainted with and which is in Gateway and everyone knows I am soooo naive when it comes to Gateway.

Upon arriving at the LRT station in Gateway, I was dumbfounded when the cashier personnel told me, "La Salle? sa MRT po kayo sasakay, dun po yun." WTF? Saan dun? And so here I go, asking manong guard, where the hell is the MRT. "Sa Farmer's plaza yun," came the reply of the sekyu. Now, how do you get to Farmer's??? You see, I only have a vague memory of how to get there. Following my instincts, I managed to get to Farmer's :D then eventually, I found the MRT! There was this Taft station which is the LAST station. Just imagine how far am I from home. I never expected that this is how the MRT and LRT made travelling really fast. In just a couple minutes of standing, I was not even aware that I reached as far as Taft. LOL! When I rode down the train, I was already looking for La Salle, when I saw no sign of any green neo-classical building of La Salle, I decided that once again, I'm gonna ask some manong. According to the friendly manong, I need to ride another LRT, going to Vito Cruz :(( I don't know what place Vito Cruz is, although I've heard it once or twice. Trusting the advice of the friendly manong, I hopped on to another LRT. This time, it was going to a place called Vito Cruz. LOL! During the ride, I noticed this guy who looks somewhat ma-angas. "Taga-La Salle ata 'to," I told myself since most La Sallians are known for that. I know it's bad to stereotype but I've got no choice right? So, there, I stepped down and I saw College of St. Benilde. I was wrong, he studies in St. Benilde. HAHA! Anyway, I was there, in the divisoria-like street of Vito Cruz, near La Salle. One word: Muddy. Grabe. When I reached Bro. Andrew Gonzales Building, my slippers were muddy! *sighs* I was almost not admitted since I forgot my school ID. I know my "I didn't know a ID was required" excuse was lame but hey, I was allowed to go inside :)) Lining up was tedious, many were already passing their application forms too. After about 30 minutes, I've passed it! And I got my test permit! :D October 4 @ Gate 4

Going home, I realized I don't know how I'll go back. LOL! I can't take the LRT again since I am unsure in what LRT I'll go to because you see, LRT have some sort of route and I don't know it. I only knew of the conventional jeepney. But no jeepney was passing, even after 40 minutes of standing in the sidewalk. Luckily (err. for the moment, I was lucky but later, I'm not sure if you'll still call it lucky that that FX passed. HAHA), a FX passed by with a "Cubao" sign. Desperately, I immediately took the ride. I've got no choice anyway, baha man o hindi, bahala na si batman! =)) I just hope that the flood ceased. When we passed by SM Manila, I saw how people scampered their way to be able to cross the flooded road with a wooden plank. I didn't know I'll encounter that same flooded, only that it's xxx times higher! :| GAAAD. Ba't sa Morayta pa?! We were already in Morayta, waiting for almost 20 minutes for the vehicle to get moving, when the driver finally announced, the flood is above the knees and no auto can't pass through except for buses. It will cease apparently in the next 8 hours or more. In short, it's IMPOSSIBLE to pass through. WE'RE STRANDED! I mean, I AM STRANDED. I've got no option but to *gulp*, to go swimming =)) kidding. Despite the flood and the scortching sun, I managed to cross from Morayta to Vicente Cruz (near Welcome Rotonda), trying to keep my test permit dry unless I want to go back to DLSU to have it replaced. Just imagine how far is that, from Morayta to Vicente Cruz! The flood seems to be a wide open sea for me with its lashing waves going towards our way everytime a bus passes by, except that you can see UST in a distant :)) During that time, I met a friend who studies in Morayta, in a school in front of UE. :D We were in the same state, desperate to get home :)) We waste no time walking our way through the flood and talking about things, basically, we were just chatting, almost not minding the flood except when we sense that a hole is somewhere near and we might fall in it. LOL! When we were already in Vicente Cruz and I already caught sight of a jeepney going to Cubao, I bade her goodbye and well, I'm off!

Worst storm, ever!

GAAAD. It's been sooo long since I've last blogged. *checks last post*. I miss blogging~ REALLY. My supposedly stress-free school year plan didn't turn out fine. HAHAHA! Okay, probably you're asking what this "stress-free school year plan" is all about. Since I'm in my fourth and last year in the department (Yes, I'll be graduating this school year. Goodbye to St. Jo!), I decided to plan EVERYTHING!!! :D I know it seems to be absurd and it also sounds pointless 'cause everyone I know knows that I'll ditch it in the long run. HAHA! Me, being such a very impatient creature~ But well, I dunno, it just came into my mind that I need to organize. Everyone needs to anyway. And so, the "stress-free school year plan" was conceived.

1. Study everyday. Actually, it was quite effective in the first week...when there was hardly any lessons to be studied. LOOOL~!
2. Save. Don't spend. This too was effective during the first three weeks but eventually, expenses came in unexpectedly.
xerox- references, quizzes, seatworks. Name them! Those machines can be lifesavers but sometimes I just can't help but curse them for making me spend more and be lazy.
projects- It's really heartbreaking when you burn cash for a project you think is the most perfect masterpiece you've ever made and then the next day, you'd see it in a trash bin, thrown by your oh-so appreciative teacher :|
college entrance exam forms- I never knew it would be this bloody expensive. When you need a certification of candidacy for graduation, pay 60php to the registrar. When you need a certificate of being on top of your class, another 60php. When you need your school records, another 60php. Add your transportation when you go to these schools plus other expenses!
food- We all know food is a basic necessity especially when you've got that appetite so BIIIG~
class expenses- Well.., even sections have their governments. And taxes too!
badminton practices- gaad. Every saturday we spend a hefty 200 php to play in a court with a taraflex. What's in those bloody blue taraflexes that it costs us hundreds every practice session? :((
recreation- Sometimes, I need to reward myself you know :)) I'M HUMAN! HAHAHA!
3. Every saturdays, I'll find time and spend the rest of my day reading. Basically, my saturdays were all hectic and I still cannot find time to do this :|
4. Sleep before 10pm to get the required 8 hours of sleep. Imposssible :((
5. Be pimple-free. Actually, it became worser than ever! D: IT'S PIMPLE-FUL!
6. Have the FORMAL gazette meetings every thursday. It's not what I have expected. Nothing is going the way I wanted it to be :((((
OMG-OMG. Senior life is definitely taking a toll on me. THIS IS THE WORST HIGH SCHOOL STORM, ever!

busted @ day 3.

This is not good :|

What's wrong with everything?! I think I'm having a burn-out :o I never realized being an EIC (Editor-in-chief) is this hard. I'm still grasping it. Yesterday, I only got 2 hours of sleep because I made the 3 promotional posters of the gazette with the oh-so slow and almost antique PC. I had no choice, it's the only one I've got with Adobe Photoshop in it. The first poster I made is really good, as they said. The second one was trash :)) I made it before midnight and basically, I am REALLY in the mood to sleep that time. The third one was just fine~ Just judge it yourself *wink*

Then awhile ago, ooohhh. My blood's boiling hot! I just hate it when you delegate a person to do something because what he's doing is not enough, REALLY NOT ENOUGH, then he would go around and complain that he don't like, that there are more things more important that promotions and the gazette. GAAAD. I should have--oh, just leave that. Enough. And also, we had this room-to-room endorsement of the gazette in which I think I did a not-so-good job. I was stammering, and I speak too fast, REALLY FAST. But the diction was good naman daw but the speed, it sucks. That endorsement dried up my throat. Then there are those classmates who won't even listen! It's like a war in the prayer room! WTF?! Probably you won't understand this, I'll explain :) It's like this, I was asked to bring a 2 Philippine flags in behalf of the class being the temporary leader-leader-an. Take note: IN BEHALF OF THE CLASS. So technically, it's a class assignment. It's just that I was the one to make sure we'll have these flags for the Independence day. But it doesn't mean that I'll go to Cubao just to get two flags! I live in Welcome Rotonda which is the opposite of Cubao in terms of location. Besides, MANY OF MY CLASSMATES LIVE IN CUBAO! Psh. But still, they don't want to do the errand. If I lived near Gateway or any other mall, I WOULD BUY THOSE FRIGGIN' FLAGS but unfortunately, I am way soooo far from those. GAAAD. WHERE ARE THE GATEWAY PEOPLE?!? NASAAN NA YUNG MGA GUMAGALA SA GATEWAY TUWING UWIAN?!?! How can they be so insensitive?

Blast these pimples!

My face is sprouting with pimples all over it, as if I was just cured from chicken pox. WTF! There are round reddish blemishes all over my cheeks. x| Hate that Nivea Moisturizer. Dammet! If I just knew it. Grr...I shouldn't have used it. *sighs*

I remember the first few weeks of summer, I WAS STRESS-FREE! :D No pimples, no eyebags, no no-no's.x) I was the most blissful person! XD All I did back then was sleep-eat-sleep-compuer. Although I worried about some things, still, it was stress-free :) But now, GAWWD~! I do miss school, it getting quite boring here. Aside from that, again, my dilemma, my pimples erupted. I got a bit curious about that Nivea Mosturizer sitting by the sink. It looks sooo good to try on.x) A few minutes after washing my face with it, I look like a tomato! O.o My cheeks are red! LOOOL~! They were asking, "Nagblush-on ka ba?" I was like, "Hindi ah, di nga ako marunong mag-make-up eh". Really, I don't even know how to put a little blush-on, lipstick and even an eyeliner! HAHAHA! I'm too young for it :p I thought I'll good look with a too-much-red cheeks but no! HAHAHA! It does not look good, not at all. Hours later, pimples erupted! WAAAW~! madami nagsipaglabasan sa pisngi ko.

an excerpt from "I Kissed A Girl" by Katy Perry
This was never the way I planned, not my intention
I got so brave, drink in hand, lost my discretion
It's not what I'm used to, just wanna try you on
I'm curious for you caught my attention

LOOOL~! I never had a drink.x) I did not plan to have these goddamn zits, it was not my intention. But I got so brave trying that bloody Nivea product 'cause it looks so good. HAHA! How's that? I sooo love her songs! Anyways, in the coming next few weeks before the schools starts, I'll start praying to make these pimples disappear like magic! XD The lesson: Be careful in using facial products. They suck! HAHAHA! I'm better off with ordinary soap.

What a bad start.

I just sneaked in to get the internet working. I wasn't supposed to blog because I'm grounded but I can't help it...

I’m off for a bad start. I wish I did not celebrate my birthday. It is as if it was some sort of curse. My first day was bad. My second day as a fifteen-year-old was worse. I knew my instinct was right; the first day was a precursor. Now, I’m on my third day. If you’ve read my last post, it was about by not-so-biggie birthday. It was not bigtime. April 30. I checked my load balance, I still got 27php. I reckoned I’ll be saving it up until a day before it expires, which was 2 days away. That was a good way to make use of it. Later that, mama asked me if I still had some load. I responded with yes to which she asked if she could text someone, someone important. Since I was the kuripot-type, I said that I was saving it up for an unlitxt (all teenagers do that) and asked how many texts will she need. I think she became irritated that she called my older sister and asked her the same question to which she replied with an answer the same as mine. With that she burst out, angry. She began with a sermon. I reckon I remembered some of it’s highlights, “Dalawang piso na nga lang, ipagdadamot mo pa?! At sa nanay mo pa?!?!!....Mga madadamot kayo!....Kung dalawang piso nga ipinagdadamot mo pa, paano pa kaya pag may sariling kita ka na? Eh di malalaki na mga ulo nyo nyan?!...kung hindi importante ‘tong itetext ko, napatawag pa ako, napamahal pa ako!....Mula ngayon, walang gagamit ng laptop, walang makikitext sa selpon ko, walang mag-iinternet! Btw, the person she was to text who she is saying important was a woman renting our apartment. Mama was supposed to visit the apartment the day after. Anyways, we were grounded. Yeah! As in. Although I do find it shallow. The reason is really shallow, TWO PESOS WORTH OF LOAD?! Just because were on recession, we are fighting over a two-peso worth load? Demmet! Ang babaw talaga. Or maybe because she was annoyed the past few days, Globe keeps on snatching her load. I don’t know how to pick up something from this situation. Thus, the night was the start of some sort of a cold war. Walang pansinan but if needed, we’d talk, only that you’ll feel that you are talking to a stranger. Later that night, I was quite ashamed and guilty. Kaso naman, ang babaw talaga. I did not expect it to end up like.

May 1. We went to school. Although she’s angry at me, she still needs to tug me along as I’ll help carry school supplies. Unfortunately, we were too dumb to remember that it was Labor’s day. So, the school was closed. All along, I felt I was with a stranger. By noon, we were starting to warm up again. But with Globe snatching her load again, men! Sinigawan nya yung operator. But it was all Shanice’ fault. Probably she pushed a few buttons that subscribed the number to services that automatically reduces the load. By afternoon, she left again to go to the apartment. That same afternoon I was having frustrations about the Palm Pilot. Damn it! Everyone was occupied with their doings. Not until mama came back and up again with her sermons. GAWD~! I did not know she left us with chores to do.x| I was clueless. Once again, I was hearing her say things like, "...Wala man lamang nagawa kahit isa sa mga bilin ko!...” but she started to rewind time with, “...Mga kadamutan nyo!...Kung ganyan din kayo, wag na kayo magbigay sa Mother’s day!...Magtatanong-tanong pa kayo kung anong gusto ko! Pag may kelangan naman ako, hindi nyo mabigay!” It all meant one thing, she probably couldn’t get over the two-peso load. She made a big deal out of it! That made perfect sense to me. But what made my blood boil was this.
Mama: BLAH~! At maglalaba ako.Ako: *sunod naman* Ma, eto ba? (pointing to the clothes to confirm it)
Mama: ANO BA SA TINGIN MO? MAY ITIM BA DYAN? MAY IBA PANG DAMIT?!
Ako: *silently doing what was asked*
...
*Minutes later*
Mama: BA’T HINDI MO PINUNO NG TUBIG ‘TO?!? (pointing to the washing machine)
Ako: Eh wala naman po kayong sinabi eh (goes to fill the washing machine).
Mama: COMMON SENSE NA YAN!

I can’t fathom how she defines common sense. I was just following what I was told. I spent my night reading A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks out of awkwardness. I wouldn’t like to be in the other room, with her. Tension might just build up there. When it was around 11:30pm, I cleaned the CR. I think my conscience told me to do that. It was the “right thing” to do. Weird. We crept into the other room at around 2, when everyone was asleep

May 2. Today. I decided to stick to this schedule: In the morning, I’ll sleep after I eat. In the afternoon, I’ll read novels & blog. In the evenings, I’ll study for college entrance exams. In the early morning, I’ll sneak to have some internet time. That will make the awkward feeling go away since it means being alone with myself in the other room.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME~!

It is my day, is it really my day or not?

Everything started so nice, even the day before. I was sooo excited with all the greetings that flooded me by the time the clock striked 12. GAWD~! FLOOD talaga, although it is not visible in my FS profile since most are texts or calls and chats. HAHAHA~! The first to greet me? BOUNCY BABY BOY!!! It was Adriel, again. Last year it was also him, yeah! a consistent one, MY NUMBER ONE FAN~! LOOOL~! Then I was flooded...greetings of all sorts but Nicole, who promised to call me at exactly 12 did not.x( boo-hoo! She fell asleep daw. But anyways, it was just fine. It was a nice feeling that you are greeted even by people you are not close with especially when they give you a free 25php load as a gift. Di ba, Merj? Feeling close ako eh. HAHAHA~! Really nice. I fell asleep 1:30 in the morning.

I woke up a bit early than expected for a person that slept to late, 9:30am. When I woke up, it was just like any other day. Yeah! I was greeted happy birthday and all but well, I don't feel the birthday spirit yet. Weird. As part of my birthday celebration, I washed the dishes, kalderos and all those stuff. How was that? It is understood that mama was the one who cooked and it was my turn to do the chores besides, I don't want to ruin MY day.x) The early afternoon was quite boring. Playing Dreamcast for 2 hours is boring, isn't it? And oh, probably you might ask, "What is a Dreamcast anyway?" It is a game console. It's just that it was released in late 1998 according to Wikipedia. So way old~! LOOL~! But it was ahead of its time, but that was during it's time, during the late 90's. HAHAHA~! And what year is it now? 2009! 11 years after it's release.x) How kewl is that? I got a retro phone from Sony Ericsson and now, I've got a Dreamcast, a game console that is still so cool & is working even after 11 years! I wouldn't trade this Dreamcast for PSPs or PS3s. It could fetch hundreds of thousands next 30 years. You'll never know.x) Maybe I could open up a vintage store someday?

Around 12 people were present. We talked about things, laughed, made a video and different stuff. And it was not anything near a birthday celebration. No cakes, no wishing upon blowing the candle but you can exempt the food and the gifts. I received three, a heart-shaped chocolate and two perfumes.x) I hope I don't smell bad though. HAHAHA! You see, I consume too much perfume and I hope (again) that that was the reason and not because I smell bad. LOOL~! I got one from Bayo and another from Plains & Prints. Not bad eh? It's good that it did not come from Bench. I'm tired of it. Then the food? We cooked, I mean, they cooked (I only did the dishwashing) spaghetti, lumpiang shanghai, 2 whole chicken and made cupcakes with icing plus fruit sala. Yummy~! The food was soo good but I did not eat like there's no tomorrow though. There are visitors! And I must behave when they are around. I still have my sanity.x) Even if Lica drank my reserved Pepsi, I must keep shhh...I dont't want to act like a kid this day. I just grew up a year older.

By the end of the day, we were starting to get childish. We played boardgames, dress-up games and puzzles. And a surprise gift, I received another gift! It was 400php! MONEY~! XD And also, I got two ice creams, one choclate and another strawberry. Mind you, those ice creams were just good for one person and my siblings stole it away from me!!! Lica, again, wanted my strawberry ice cream. I gave it away, I hate strawberry. HAHA! Next thing I knew, Shanice was crying over my Chocolate Mousse ice cream. WTF?! THAT WAS MY ICE CREAM~! *sighs* Again, I don't want to ruin MY day. I gave in. I don't want to cry over a spilled milk.x|

Night came and everything became so normal again. But still, it was my birthday~! LOL~! My jumpiness during the morning was all drained up. I feel somewhat wasted. Yeah! W-A-S-T-E-D. Some things that happened are not supposed to be written down here. It will just end up stuck in my head. Probably, the people involved won't even know it. They unconsciously made things that suck. And no one will know anything about it, maybe except my confidant. Later that night, we had a spat. I did not used the computer the whole day! And I want to use it but my sister won't let me although she already had her time. GAWD~! First, someone drank my reserved Pepsi. Then, another cried over my ice cream. Now, somebody's stealing my computer time~! Happy birthday to me. That was the last straw. I locked myself up in the room and called almost everyone. I wanted to talk to somebody, anyone. Then, out of my five besfriends, four greeted me, one forgot it, one was late. How was that? I was quite disappointed but what can I do? *sighs* I wish myself a happy birthday for the next year...

And oh, I appreciated and thank these people: Adriel, Ienne, Edgar, Kuya Marcial, Ate Ixen, Bezthie, Tep, Ate Luleth, Deana, Jonah, Cedhez, Rhezel, Bassig, Ate Karen, Nicole M, Nicole F, Brian, Jaja, Jen, Ana, Jana, Julian, Jhol, Cayla, Faye, Ayelle, Mikie, Nelle, Margx, Jeziel, Ja, Kuya July, Carina, Joemarie, Merj, Isko, Saree, Ate Lala, Liw, Mao, Kuya Matthew, Kuya Neill and the others I haven't mentioned. And also my family of course, I thank them.x)

superficial thinking.

Why can't they understand? Why are grown-ups so superficial? They use old age to have things their way. Wisdom gained with age? Nah! Wisdom is not gained with age, it is with experience and wisdom itself.

*Me, intending to study. I already placed my things on the table. Mama went to use the phone at malakas ang boses nya.
Mama: NAKITANG MONG GINAGAMET KO 'TONG TELEPONO?!
Ako: Ma, mag-aaral lang po..
Mama: EH DI LUMIPAT KA!!!
Ako: BA'T SI ATE KIM NOON!? DATI PINAG-AARAL NYO SYA PERO AYAW NfmlYA EH AKO, NAG-AARAL NA NGA AKO, AYAW NYO PA AKO PAG-ARALIN!

GAWD! ANO BA!?~! I know I was wrong when I answered back, pero ano ba!

*sighs*

Lovelots,

all messed up.

I am guilty that we spent 800php because I got my braces messed-up by just eating crackers. I'm depressed for some reason I do not know. I can't force myself to study for the college entrance exams. I am too lazy to do so. My mother's angry at me for being such a bum even though I am doing my part of chores, she said I should clean, HARDER. And when I asked her if I could help her, she won't even respond. WTF! My sister's making an issue about scrambled eggs, I gave up my share. My teeth and gums are aching, my braces were adjusted awhile ago. I can't eat well. The weather is too much, it's too freakin' HOT! I can't stand it. I did the laundry, it reduced the hot temperature, somehow. It did help, a little.

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE WORLD TODAY?!? hate it.

leaving soon.

This is the day. Shucks! Everyone who'll be coming might be too overly excited but I'm not. Who'll be thrilled to join if your not even part of the social circle of the people there and even your sister (the only person you REALLY know) also hates you to be there. It's plain lame.

Yesterday night, we packed our things. And also, we counted-off and the final count? 13 persons are going there. GAWD! 13 is not too lucky, isn't it? Nako! pinatulan ba naman ang pamahiin. HAHAHA! I don't usually believe in superstitions and stuff but when other signs showed up, it just gives me the chills. And I don't want to mention the others. Anyway, whatever happens, I'll do my duty! HAHAHAHA! I'll guard my post. LOL! Bahala na nga. All I know is we'll be leaving at 4 in the afternoon, will be taking a bus trip to Pampanga, will be arriving in the host' house after two hours or so, will be texting everyone 'till my eyes feel heavy, will be listening to my cellphone's built-in mp3 'till the battery runs out. Other "will be's" will follow soon. :p

wish us luck.

rantings of a first-born.

Honestly (and luckily), I am not the first-born in our family :D so this post is not entirely about me. You see, I have to be a chaperon in my sister's outing. LOL~! My older sister (she's a year older than me) cannot go on out-of-town trips and even lakwatsas within the city without being accompanied unlike me who could just roam around with friends as long as I have my phone with me. Sooo lucky me. And she hates it of course! She rants on why is she always this and that, why not me and the others. She hates all the attention. It's like being on the Big Brother house. LOL!

Anyways, they have this "all-seniors outing" and my sister's invited. But before heading straight to the party people, as a gesture, she MUST ask for permission from "dad". Let me tell you this, during our bequeathal, since it was held during the night, "dad" still monitored us although he is across the globe. How? HAHA! Ask him. LOL! Goin' back, she was allowed to join the event in one condition: I will be her chaperon-slash-guardian-slash-bantay. Talk about baby-sitting older people. If I'm asked, "Baket ka nandito?" I don't know what to reply. Will I say, "Pinapabantay sa akin kapatid ko ehh." Am I my brother's keeper?-- do you still remember this? In my case, it would be, AM I MY SISTER'S KEEPER?! GAWD! WTF!? While she will be LAUGHING and TALKING, I'll be keeping an eye on her. Tss...I'll be soooo bored for sure. Or worse, I'll be out-of-place in that "all-seniors clique". I'm still a junior and don't want to be a loner. *sighs*

Two days from now, my ordeal begins. Let's see if I can use my inferior PR skills. Bid me goodluck. haha!

Lovelots,

not feeling well.

My head hurts since yesterday and the day before yesterday. But today is the worst. I woke up feeling really sick, cold and my head is aching like hell. It's driving me nuts. Happy April Fool's Day to me. Blech! I can't eat our everyday breakfast of oatmeal. I don't feel like eating and I can't. But what's worse is that I needed to go to school. Maybe you were asking why should I? School's over, right? But well, I need to check over the printing of our school paper in the absence of our EIC. He gave me some instructions on how to check it and I promised to come over the next day. But guess what? I just broke my promise because of this freakin' headache. GAWD! I can't move that much. In my every move, I feel the intense pain in my head and I feel my eye twitching. In his absence and mine, I texted Ms. Malenab about his guidelines and instructions although me, myself, I really find it unethical. But what can I do? I have no choice. It's my health or my responsibilty.

For the past few months, I feel that I'm neglecting my responsibilities. At the gazette, I do pass my articles although most of it are late. I also did layout even if its only a few pages but I feel what I did was not enough. As an incoming EIC, I should have done more. I heard that there was this tradition that the next EIC could do all the collecting of the article and the layouting. But what did I do? I just did 1/4 of this job. I feel so irresponsible. And to think that we are only 3 possible incoming EICs, (minus 1 because she is not a writer, only writers are eligible to be EICs in our org) I took the title for granted. It made me guilty for some time. I don't even think that I have enough writing skills to have my articles on the gazette. I'm still working on it through this blog. I hope my leadership skills is enough to lead this big group of news writers. What else have I neglected? Oh, the varsity. Yes, I admit. This is the thing I took for granted the MOST. When I tried out for this, I was really not sure if I should be there. After the try-outs, I was doubting. I asked myself, "Should I back-out? Or should I just wait for the results?" I know deep inside that I'm also a beginner in that field of sport. I played it for years but I haven't played it in a REAL badminton court. HAHA! When I was told that I was accepted, I was shocked. So much for a beginner. I was hesitant. Can I juggle my studies with this? Plus there was the gazette and the class I am to lead. Months passed and the AAPS was about to take place. We were to be pulled-out for one whole week! The tournament made me a third placer and in our vocabulary, our classroom's vocabulary, it means LOSER. It made me bitter for weeks and months. If they just knew the feeling, I'd like to kick their butts to make them feel the very same thing. What's worse is that I don't know anything about our lessons, not even a single thing. I failed every quiz we had in Chemistry. I was in the brink of crying in the realization that my academic standing and even my social life was deteriorating. My responsiblity meant fewer bonding moments and luxury time. I really hate that 2nd quarter. Damn it! Even the teachers, Ms. Vergara specifically had me talking about what's happening to me. She said I was always tulala and seems to be not in my normal self. Another thing I took for granted was presidency. In the back of my mind, I thought that they elected me not because of leadership but rather because they could control me. My election to position was a real surprise. I am a writer, not a leader. It never crossed my mind that I could me a writer and a leader all at the same time. And my election to presidency made me doubt if I could lead 52 students. Our winnings in competitions was never because of me, I know that. I give my thanks to those who shared their leadership for the class. I appreciated it a lot.

Right now, I'm feeling much better than this morning. Good for me. haha!

hating this.

I should be happy and rejoicing with all my heart right now. Well, its summer. It is a break from the studies, late-night movie marathons, NONSTOP EATING!LOL!, But, jeez, I did not expect it to be sooooo boring. Crap~! Actually, I made up brewed up some plans to make it more productive than last year's vacation which was rather dull. All I did last vacation was live a pig's life. My routine: wake up, eat, move a little, sleep, wake up, eat, use the computer and it goes on and on. Anyways, this was my summer plans SUPPOSEDLY.HAHA~! btw, these were "texted" down in my trusty cellphone.LOL~!

SUMMER PLANS!

1. Get a JOB, a summer job
Since my piggy bank is broken down, bankrupted in short, I needed to have some cash. Who doesn't want money anyway? No one I suppose. To have some gimmick, I DESPERATELY need some cash.LOL~! We tried to inquire at the nearest McDo, our favorite hangout! But, it turned us down. They only offer kiddie worshops and absolutely, I am no kid. Not at all. Next stop was Japok! Fortunately, they do offer summer jobs but we need to submit a resume. And we still haven't got one. After a few days of intense thinking, I decided. I WON'T GET A JOB!HAHAHAHA! It's not that I'm lazy and wants to sleep all day but it's because I'm barely 15y/o. And do you think they would entrust a real-time job to a 14y/o? Nah! More probably, they would hire a person more capable to do that, the older ones of course. But I'm not bitter, not anymore.

2. UPCAT Review-- it should actually be College Entrance Review but since UPCAT is so popular, I better make use of it.haha!
I'm an incoming Senior. And I'm so darn pissed. HAHAHA! I know it sounds, uhm, weird? But really, I still don't want to be a senior. In three months, my last ten months in highschool will unfold before my very eyes and I'm not ready for it. Aside from that, I don't want to take those entrance exams. They make me want to stay up at night, magsunog ba ng kilay? haay, parang quarterly exams lang. Yun nga lang, x10 ang pressure. And those blogs, oh! They remind me of that very thing, the nervous feeling of taking up entrance exams. They got me thinking about my college life.

What college will I end up? I'm choosing between three universities and I don't know which one to choose. Ang aga ko mangarap! Di pa nga nakakapasa, naghahangad na. Call me a dreamer but I really wanted to end up in one of these schools.

a. Ateneo- WOAH! I really like here. I'd take up Journalism if it did happen. It's simply elite. A top choice! They got good facilities and everything! But then, GAWD! Studying in Ateneo might break my piggy bank. But who says dreaming is a crime?

b. UST- I also badly wanted to be a Thomasian. I don't know why. Maybe it's because of my peers. Maybe it's their 400 years of existence? Or maybe not? It's like UST got a big magnetic pull that attracts thousands of graduates! Once, I was asked, "Baket ba madami may gusto sa UST?" I was speechless, for me myself am craving to be in that school and I can't figure it out why I'm wanting it. Whatever happens, I'll take up Industrial Design when I study here. Do you know that course? If you'll be an Industrial designer, then you are a person that designs things for Industrial use. Gets? I mean, your job is to design furnitures and stuff. It also includes food packaging and all sorts of packaging. If art and design is your passion, it will be sisiw for you. It's a real deal!

c. UP- Another dream school! But I'm still thinking about entering this one. My parents don't like it for me. My dad (actually, papa ang tawag ko sa tatay ko but since blog 'to, i-english ko na. HAHAHAHA!) was once an Iskolar ng Bayan but he transfered to UST. He said that fraternities and sororities there will just make my grades slip. But I really, really wanted to be an Iskolar. *sighs* Oh, I just want to share something. Have you heard of a pambara for UST? It says, "What is 400 years of existence with 100 years of excellence?" LOOOL~! It got me thinking what's the 400 years of existence for?

I've got to study for these schools. But I'm too lazy. LOL~! We planned to have a group review instead of paying thousands for some 1-month review sessions. But I think our group review will not push through. No one's interested. Probably, I'll end up studying alone at home.

3. House-hopping
It's our barkada's favorite pastime. We hip and hop from house to house! HAHA! We want to explore. We are curious creatures. And of course, we want something to have our bellies filled with. WE WANT TO HAVE FUN! The food trips are just bonuses.

4. Movie Marathon
TV won't satisfy me. The shows simply sucks, I can't stand it. I missed going to the movies. But what's the use of pirated DVDs? At just 65php, you will get a DVD with 45 movies in it! Cheap? Nah! It's called being smart. Unfortunately, the DVD player broke down. And that means goodbye DVD marathons. :'(

5. Badminton training
I'm a badminton varsity and I do hope that I will still be next school year even though I haven't held a badminton racket for 7 months. LOL~! It was seven months since the AAPS tournament took place and that was the only time I trained in the varsity. I'm just too engrossed with my academic standing that I forgot all about my other responsibilities, say my varsity responsibilities. And this summer, I'm making up for the lost time. I'll be training aspiring varsities for the next year. I do hope that they will learn something from me though for me myself, I haven't played it seriously for months. HAHA!

6. Diet plan
Okay, I've gained weight, especially during the exams! And I am still gaining. I can't stand reviewing without taking a break to eat something. And after the exam, I still can't control myself to stop eating. You see, we have these two plastic containers, and they are BIG food containers. When I'm hungry, usually I roam around first then I go straight ahead to those two BIG food containers. It's full of heaven, btw. There are wafers, chocolates, biscuits and all the other good stuff. But right now, the they are empty :D which is a semi-good thing. And ridiculous as it sounds, I'm doing those aerobics exercises. LOL~! It's called a desperate move.

7. Library-hopping
You might think I'm a nerd eh? Still wanting to lounge around the library won't make anyone nerd, seriously. The library is full of stuff, full of original ideas I suppose. Ideas that might make my summer more err, bearable. Besides, we've planned (again) that we will be doing our UPCAT studies in those old libraries but it seems to be hopeless. I don't want to go there all by myself. I'd rather be bored here at home. LOL~!

Out of these seven plans, I think, and I do hope that at least two will happen. *sighs* This will be one long summer...
