Parading the rainbow of colors on the streets of New York!

"We reached a new level of social justice." -Gov. Andrew Cuomo

I covered some part of this
picture for conservatism's sake. lol

It is official. The free city of New York became the sixth US city to approve the marriage equality legislation. Governor Andrew Cuomo signed the bill just before midnight Friday.

Gay rights advocates all over the world joined in the celebration of the long awaited signing of the bill that legalizes same-sex marriage in New York. The city, being the largest US state which approved the said bill, is now blooming with LGBT (Read: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender)  pride!

The sexual revolution of 1960's marked the start of a new movement that is set to challenge the sexual conformities of the society. Since this period onwards, the norms of the society has been changed. Formerly unthinkable acts such as abortion, contraception, nudity, homosexuality and even pre-marital sex has been rampant and mainstream. It is really hard to have a stand in this kind of issue. On one end, you might think that it really is right to have a go on this law. Everyone does deserve a chance to be happy, right? Even the people of the third gender, they have that innate right. And if that is what makes them happy, as long as they aren't doing any harm, then, let them be. Though you still can't erase the fact that it would look somehow awkward, especially if they have children (whether they would be adopted or surrogated, giving birth is not an option). But if they have the financial and the emotional capacity to raise those kids, that would be good. But then, it is still a big question whether the church deems the act as something moral. Though the obvious answer would be no. They have been strongly against it for ages, insisting that marriage is something sacred, thus, it should be a union between a man and a woman only. The passage of the said bill is also deemed to be the deterioration of the people's morality. Nevertheless, the law was signed with a 33-29 votes in favor of the republicans. Sorry, Obama, your conservative views have no place in America. Yesterday's passage of the law is the momentum for equality of the sexes.

This is similar to how an average person's perspective of gay couples having children.

Sometimes, it makes me think of how homo-phobics are so narrow-minded to actually think that way. So yes, I am actually for the legalization of same-sex marriages. Here are some of the celebrities who have gone out of their closets.

Neil Patrick Harris from How I Met Your Mother and
longtime partner, David Burtka  has planned on
saying  I-do's now that New York has
 legalized same-sex marriages
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi  have already
wed in California in August 2008

Despite having hordes of girls to crush on him, the winner of
American Idol Season 8, Adam Lambert is also openly-gay.

Chris Colfer is one of the actors who have played a gay role.

Raise that rainbow flag for the LGBT!

Where is happiness?

Mark this day. This is the first day in my pursuit of happiness.

I came to the realization that I can live my life BETTER and HAPPIER without carrying such depressing memory. Being single isn't bad after all. Although I can't deny the fact that there are these awkward moments when everyone's talking about boyfriends and girlfriends, then, I'm left in one corner listening... and listening.

Anyway, I know I did my part. Actually, almost every part and both parts, I did. So no one can blame me for taking another pursuit of happiness, this time, for myself. Especially that I felt I was cheated. Now that's another story.

I saw this Really sweet pre-nup shoot of Kristine Hermosa and Oyo Sotto from spot.ph and boy, it looks soooo good! How I wish I'll have an ending like theirs, fairytale-like--even though I know it's fiction. Fairytales are fiction. The same goes for happily-ever-afters. There is only "The end." Now tell, where the hell does happiness exist?

Tragedy written

A bad decision makes a good story. So better see how the story ends and write down a tragedy.

Pilipinas what?

Pilipinas kay Ganda!

How cheap does that sound? Really cheap. I heard it was DOT's latest slogan for the Philippine's tourism. And honestly, it sucked. Having the WOW Philippines with Dick Gordon was waaaay better than the Pilipinas kay Ganda of whoever-the-current-secretary-is. In the first place, it's not even in English. How can foreigners even understand kay Ganda? I'm not saying that we must always adhere to the dominant English, it's just that, how can you make people attracted with a tagline they don't even understand? Mabuhay, we can still consider that since almost all the foreign personalities that visited us came to say, "Mabuhay! Mahal ko kayo" even if their accent is quite unpolished. Philippines' Mabuhay can be rightfully equaled by the Aloha of Hawaii. Both are common unlike the phrase Pilipinas Kay Ganda which is something one can't recall easily. Aside from that, it doesn't make any distinction from other tourism taglines of other countries. Most taglines would have the idea that their country is beautiful, is jaw-dropping, is bountiful. And we are not making any difference. We are still stating the obvious. I would appreciate if they thought of a tagline which will stand out. Something out of the box. So much for marketing 101.

And the logo? I was ALMOST satisfied with it, until I heard that it was plagiarized from Poland. Lol. Nakakahiya lang po. (http://spankyenriquez.blogspot.com/2010/11/plagiarized-pilipinas-kay-ganda-logo.html) Maybe it's just coincidence? Coincidence that they have the same font, almost identical waves. And they both got their respective trees. But I did appreciate the (kay-gan-dah) adj. so beautiful as an addition to what they plagiarize.

< sarcasm > Kudos to DOT, Kudos! < / sarcasm >

UP is not everything.

Once and for all, I have finally decided that, well, I am not taking the UPCAT. HAHAHA!

I was taking second thoughts about it at first but I dunno, eventually, I've learned that UPCAT is not everything. It's just a test! Except for the fact that it will be my ticket to the country's most prestigious university,... if I passed. LOL! They say I'm throwing opportunity away, that I was just wasting my brain and, and blaaaah~! But gaad, I don't even like UP! You might wonder why of all schools, I hate UP. It's not that I hate, it's just that we're not meant to be. LOOL! First, UP is so damn far! From here, it'll be two LOOONG rides and a walk, a long walk on the polluted road of err, I think it's Philcoa. HAHA! Second, my choice of course is not available in UP Diliman, it's in Cebu! I'll never fly there just for Mass Comm. LOOOOL! Third, my parents don't like the idea of me studying there. Fraternity and sororities daw kase, as adviced by papa. He was a UP almunus but he left the school for UST for the same reasons :| Fourth, nakakatakot sa gabi. Especially if I am not-so-lucky enough that I'll be scheduled to take the test in the evening like my sister. Yeah! She finished the test 10pm last year. It's a good thing papa knew UP but now that he's far away, no one will fetch me if I fell in the same circumstances. Fifth, may mga nare-rape daw sa UP. With it having dark and eerie roads, UP campus is definitely a hot-spot for such cases. Besides, UP is available for access by the public. Everyone can just simply go in and out of the campus. Sixth, it's too big! It's a known fact that UP is indeed a large school. It was so huge that buildings are very far from each other and trees can be seen everywhere. If you've got a class in the next building, goodluck naman s'yo! Seventh, it seems to me that UP is not longer a government school. Their tuition is almost the same with that of the other schools. Government schools supposedly had to have a MUCH more lower tuition that the others but no, it is almost just the same. Eight, too liberal. I think that too much of it is bad. Exaggerating. Too much of anything is bad, right? Ninth, UP IS NOT EVERYTHING. There are other schools out there, probably they are a bit inferior compared to UP but so what? It is still on the student whether he or she will excel or not. LOL!

Right now, I'm thinking of taking up USTET. It's UST alright, my dream school. HAHA! :D

I'm so witty.

HAHAHAHA! I so love myself. I'm not being egoistic or what but I just love myself :D

You see, awhile ago, I went to Pasig to have my braces fixed. I was alone, all by myself. It was my first time.x) I did not get lost though. To go there, I needed to ride a jeep going to Cubao. Walk a few blocks then ride another jeep to Rosario. I'll ride down at the Rosario Market. Then take another jeep going to Tramo. Ride down at Hampton's Condomindiums. Then *sighs*, I'll walk , again. Whew~! When I reached there, I was tired of course! HAHAHA! Then, the dentistry-work began.

Now, this is where it starts. Going back, I have to ride a jeep going to Tramo. Cross the road. Ride a Bus. A bus! HAHA! I rode a bus going to Quiapo. It was a long trip, a 1-hour ride so I did a little soundtrip. From Tramo the bus passes the following places: Ortigas, Robinson's Galleria, La Salle Greenhills then Greenhills itself! In that stop-over, a man in his 30's sat beside me. He's smelly, REALLY. HAHAHA! He smells like combined sweat, alcohol and I do think he also smokes. Eeww... Lesson 1: Look at the physical appearance. Sometimes, you must "judge a book by it's cover". He intended to sit in the aisle seat but I offered him the window seat to which he look dismayed. It makes me wonder why he chose to sit beside me, I mean, there are still lots of available seats at the back. Why bother to share a sit with someone when you can have your own space. Anyway, he can't do anything, I got the seats first! :p HAHAHA! Lesson 2: Never offer the aisle seat to a stranger. Why? It gives them the chance to corner you. So there, he was sitting beside me looking so annoyed. I asked myself why is it a big deal to him! LOL! It's just a seat for God's sake! During the whole trip, he gives me these stares, the ones that makes you think someone's trying to spy on you. Yeah! He keeps on looking at my things, my bag and at me. GAWD! Am I just paranoid or he's really after my phone? I wished I kept that stupid phone in my bag. Now I know, he's really after my phone :| Lesson 3: Never use a gadget in public transportations. I know I'm stubborn when I used my phone but did I knew that someone as him will sit beside me? No. It's not my fault.x| I'd catch him staring at me, if not making those exasperated sighs, as if trying to say, "Nakaka-asar ka ahh." I clutched my leather bag tighter and closer to me and I tried to avoid his stares. HAHAHA! It's a good thing I brought a leather bag, it's not easy to rip open a leather bag. Lesson 4: As much as possible, do not use bags with easy-to-rip-cloth during long trips as it is a easy target for snatchers. Use leather bags or bags that doesn't rip easily. My destination was SM Sta, Mesa. As I hurriedly walked out of the bus, I could see his face when I looked back. He seems to be very dissapointed and somewhat angry. He still keeps looking at me with his beady eyes. And I heard that he was on his way to Quiapo, the last stop of the bus ride. Lesson 5: Get a hint from their destination. He's from Pasig going to Quiapo and that's one long ride. So, I was thinking that probably he will use the whole trip to at least try to have a target, a vulnerable passenger. And since I'm small for my age (I admit. HAHAHAHA!) and really looks naive, he probably thinks I'm an easy target. Wrong person, dude. LOOOOL~! I'm too witty for you. HAHAHA! I already have an idea of those things. It's too obvious, you'll corner a person and watch his/her every move then do your thing. Sorry, wrong pick. Better luck next time! :p I really love myself, I managed to escape that snatching! Phew!

Dreams and reality.

I had a dream, a very good dream :) Actually, they were two so it should be dreams.

In my first dream, it seems that I was taken back to my 1st year in highschool with my freshmen classmates of course! We were in these small room, I forgot what room is that but it was small. It had green curtains and some chairs with writing desks. So, we were there! Only 4 people. I only remembered myself and another person I know ;p There was some sort of activity, a play perhaps. Then, this person I know told me, "We're meant to be." HAHAHAHAHA! I dunno what happened next. LOOOL~! But I reckon it is a happy ending. LOOOL~! x)

The second one. I semi-liked and semi-hated it. It somewhat gives me creeps. According to my dream, we moved to an another apartment. It was haunted! :| Then, I started seeing ghosts and paranormal things. I had a third eye! Of course I was afraid! LOL! Who wouldn't anyway? I remembered myself in a badly lit room with the computer in it and I was using it, I ask my sibling to stay with me for awhile but she doesn't like so I left the room for fear that I might again see that ghost. There was this instance when I was trying to sleep but the ghost keeps pulling my blanket! What I did was I prayed and prayed. Almost like a novena then suddenly, the ghost disappeared. The next day, I saw that ghost being a good spirit. LOOOL~! It was weird, really. A ghost becoming a good spirit? C'mon! It only existed in storybooks, doesn't it?

I liked my dreams~! LOOOL~! Especially the first one.x) HAHA!

Anyways, reality check. Enough with daydreaming. HAHA! Just minutes ago, I happened to switch the channels and I watched the news coverage about the 60th birthday of Nanay Dionesia. WTF! Is that even part of the news?!? I don't reckon that that is even part of the breaking news. GAWD~! It would be more appopriate if it will be shown in entertainment shows like The Buzz or S-Files but in the Breaking news?! Is that even a national celebration? I really hate it when people try to cover every single event and make it a nationwide buzz. I mean, it's just a birthday. Everyday there's a birthday. What makes it a nationwide sensation? Is everybody invited? No. Then why? Okay, everyone knows that she's the mother of the boxing champ and all that but I dunno, I really don't that her birthday is that special to be in the breaking news. HAHA! It would be more acceptable if the news is about the arrival of Manny Pacquiao. He is an international icon by now! But a birthday? Psh. Don't they have any scoop to cover? A more significant event perhaps?

THE NOTEBOOK.

I’m starting to get cheesy and romantic again. Probably the effect of reading romances. The works of Nicholas Sparks never failed to hit me somehow, especially the Notebook. I’ve finish reading it minutes ago. Actually, I’ve watched the film before but didn’t fully comprehend. I found it boring at first but it got me almost to tears in the end. LOL~! I remembered some scenes though, when Allie visited Noah and when they hugged in the rain. I don’t remember watching Allie suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. Btw, I do think Katy Perry fits the role of Allie. I imagined her doing it especially in her music video of “Thinking of You”.x) But she’s not blonde. LOL! Anyway, I only got the full story when I read the ebook, the original version. It was somewhat erotic but sentimental at the same time. Full of emotions but not too graphic in detail. Well, it just got the perfect blend. What can I say? I also noticed how he narrated a love story spanning almost a lifetime in just 122 pages. It’s like magic! I didn’t noticed the transition from their childhood to their 30’s and before I knew it, they were already in their last days. I admire how he was able to just highlight the events vividly without leaving any questions unanswered. Okay, so maybe I did have some questions back then but he answered it in a way that makes you ponder for awhile. I mean, he gives you hints but not direct answers. It gives it more sense, more meaning and story. Overall, it was good. I liked it and it made me realize some things…

1. There’s more to life than success and money
Probably this is the reason why I hate reading books like “How to make your money grow”. I hate finance but I do love to write. It’s the passion that drives me. It struck me when Allie was fighting over the thought of Noah giving her passion but Lon providing her stability and compatibility; status over real happiness; being a socialite over being an anonymous artist.
In the end, it’s up to you. Whether you’ll choose to grow old rich but weary or live in lowliness but full of contentment.

2. "You know, the ghost, the memory. I’ve been watchin' you, workin' day and night, slavin' so hard you barely have time to catch your breath. People do that for three reasons. Either they crazy, or stupid, or tryin' to forget. And with you, I knew you was tryin' to forget. I just didn't know what.” –Gus

It was the reason. The memories that keeps on flooding back to him. I realized that a person who suddenly becomes workaholic tries to avoid something, to escape reality which, most of the time, is true.

3. “How would it feel, I remember wondering, to be always together, yet forever apart” -–Noah

It’s like the bestfriend-inlove-with-friend situation. You call him/her bestfriend yet deep inside you want more than friends and you are left to wonder how on earth you will confess everything. Yeah! Hard, I know. Ouch naman. Kamusta naman ako? HAHAHA! You’re always together but the relationship seems to be purely platonic. Nothing intimate. That’s the problem.

4. Love surpasses limits

It made the impossible, possible and made one month, one year. That’s what I’ve noted in the works of Nicholas Sparks. Love always interferes. It works magic. It will always find a way.

5. There will always be one, only one choice for you to choose.

“He cares for his patients, he says, and must come here when called. He says he has no choice, but this makes him a man torn by contradiction. He wants to be a doctor completely devoted to his patients and a man completely devoted to his family. He cannot be both, for there aren’t enough hours, but he has yet to learn this…which will he choose or whether, sadly, the choice will be made for him”
--Noah, seeing Dr. Bernham.

There will always be only one passion for you, probably the other are just minors. It’s like you can have multiples of girlfriend/boyfriends but there will always be that only one you will forever cherish; you can only be dedicated to one.
In terms of responsibility, I mean work vs. personal life, you can only choose one. It’s either you will be the best husband or the best lawyer in town. That’s the same with profession. You cannot excel in two fields. You cannot be a doctor and a lawyer at the same time nor can I be a good Editor-in-chief without being an irresponsible CAT officer. LOL~! I hope you get the picture.x) It’s all about setting priorities.

6. “I love you and I always have”

This, probably, was the line mostly said. It’s a bout first love. As a saying goes, “First love never dies”. But I doubt it. I dunno. I believe that first love is not the most fascinating feeling one will experience, rather, it is true love. But if you’ve happened to have encountered both in a single person, men! How lucky are you?

7. Having no interaction doesn’t always mean nothing’s going around.

“We sit silently and watch the world around us. This has taken us a lifetime to learn. It seems only the old are able to sit next to one another and not say anything and still feel content. The young, brash and impatient, must break the silence. It is a waste, for silence is pure. Silence is holy. It draws people together because only those who are comfortable with each other can sit without speaking. This is the great paradox”
--Noah.

That explains it all. Enough said.

8. “Maybe we’ve lived a thousand lives before this one and in each of them we’ve found each other. And maybe each time, we’ve been forced apart for the same reason. That means that this goodbye is both a goodbye for the past ten thousand years and a prelude to what will come….We will find each other again, and maybe the stars will have changed, and we will not only love each other in that time but for all the times we’ve had before.”
--Noah, addressing to Allie

It makes me wonder if there really is life after death and destiny. Up to now, I am still puzzled. I cannot decipher how to sort this out. It seems to say only one thing: Love. Maybe love is not meant to be decoded nor understood; it should be felt.

9. “I’m here because this is where I’m supposed to be. It’s not complicated. Both you and I are enjoying ourselves. Don’t dismiss my time with you, it’s not wasted. It’s what I want. I sit here and we talk and I think to myself, what could be better than what I am doing now?”
--Allie, having Alzheimer’s, talking to her forgotten husband.

While reading this, I couldn’t help myself but smile. I can’t help but think about the complexities of life.

“When you love someone, you say it right then, out loud. Otherwise, the moment just passes you by”
--My Bestfriend’s Wedding

What I’m trying to say is that if we like someone, why don’t we just say and prove it. Why wait for tomorrow if you have today? You’re not ready? When will you be ready? When will be that time? You’re afraid? Afraid of rejection? You have that fear. Then, how will you know? Don’t worry; there are plenty of people like you. You’re not alone. You have me, ‘cause I have the same problem *wink* That’s why I don’t know how I came up with what I just said. LOOL~! I also fear the same.

That 122-page ebook taught me a lot. I guess I’ll be reading some more.

Lovelots,

Do you know what's hot?

"Being at or exhibiting a temperature that is higher than normal or desirable."

Yeah! that is what hot is. GAWD! It's sooo hot! The temperature is. While typing down these things, currently, I'm experiencing the heat wave. HAHAHAHAHA~!

Anyways, the heat today is really different. It's too much. Before, the heat was a bit bearable. But now, grabe! pag di mo binuksan electric fan mo, tustado ka talaga! hay ewan, ang weird ng weather. But if you'll look at it, take a deeper look, it's actually in the atmosphere. GLOBAL WARMING. So, people, let's go green! :D

and one more thing, medyo tinatamad ako mag-type ngayon ehh. haha! INEET!

Dreams of Eliminating DISCRIMINATION!

Yesterday's night slot shows almost left me teary-eyed, ALMOST. HAHAHA! Yesterday was better. x)
A clue about this post: I'M ANTI-STAR SECTION-ing. XD

Anyways, I had a dream. It had something to do with the next school year. In short...WALANG STAR SECTION! XD Di naman sa pinapangunahan ko ang announcement ng admin, pero yun ang panaginip ko eh, dreams do come true, I hope. HAHAHAHA! And one more thing, it doesn't mean that I hate being in my class. I just hate the attitude, not entirely the class.

In my dream, I was late for our songfest practice. When I arrived, they were about to start the practice kaya nakisingit nalang ako. Person 1 (one of the closest people to; from the other section; classmate when I was in the first year) was next to me while Person 2 (Also a person close to me; classmate of Person 1 last school year; I met this person just last year) was in the far left corner of the formation. We were doing this practice things when we had a break. Although I have met Person 1 earlier and I was far more closer to this person, I dunno why I kept hanging out with Person 2. Ah basta! Ang gulo kaya magkwento kapag di binabanggit ang pangalan 'tas Person 1 & 2 ang pangalan nila. HAHAHAHA! XD

It's not that I'm against, once again, the star section-ing. YUN YON EH. It's soooo lame. If not, WEAK ka daw. Ano ba pake nila? HAHAHAHA! HAHAHA! Diretsuhin ba naman? Nako! HAHAHA! Another thing, the COMPETITION SUCKS! Especially when it comes to the quizzes and stuff, payabangan, pataasan ng scores. MAY PUSTAHAN PA 'YAN! 5 piso bawat pusta. Matatalino eh. Madami pa ako masasabi. HAHAHA! Meron din sa amin ang mga attention-getter. KSP in short. In a good way, nakakatulong rin sila. LOOOOL~! Ampotek talaga. Mga Pilosopo eh, BASTUSAN! ETCHOS talaga.

Another thing I hate was something about our batch. We are divided. It was a fact. You know, I envy the other batches. Ibang-iba. I just noticed it during the Pampanga experience, mga seniors nga kase kasama ko. Walang hiya-hiya nun. LOOOL~!

I know there's no perfect class. Since I have been a part of it, I will always be, I might as well love it anyway. Whatever it is, I'll always have a principle...

"When I am abroad, I always make it a rule never to criticize or attack the government of my own country. I make up for lost time when I come home."
--Sir Winston Churchill, British Politician

HAHAHA! Kaka-confession ko pa naman. Ansamaaa koooo~! LOL!

Semana Santa.

I barely noticed and felt it. LOL~! Time na pala para magpakabanal. I'm still having a hangover that I forgot that it's already Holy Week. Forgive me, Lord for I haven't even got the time to go to the Church and pray although I'm not doing anything productive for the past few days. To make matters worse, we are only a few steps away from the Church, it makes me more guilty >.< onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhts5s4mdQ6j-rXSywoFkGlCN266HVWgciwEf6XUAKiz25AgLgBkJS76MYMaSUQnLVwTQXZgrYlzC1hYaVpowSLK6LBnzbY1XYfHlUFe7kuoR9HO_jthr75t9cTM0c2Gb8Zjv-KiReciLso/s1600-h/maybukaspa.gif">at this "May Bukas Pa" was actually touching. It was a beautiful story. Before, I found it melodramatic to hear stories of healing. Maybe it was the effect of the fad today or stereotyping. I just realized how good the story was. Anyway, it was replay that summarizes the previous happenings. In that marathon, there was this scene where in John Estrada as Mang Oleg escaped prison, although he was nearing to receive his parole, to have his son cured by kidnapping Santino. In the process, Santino came to know Mang Oleg in a different light. He was not the criminal that everyone knew but rather he was a father desperate to save his son's life. In the end, Mang Oleg died with the assurance that his son will be cured. It was a story of sacrifice, a father's unending love for his children. I know you'll find it shallow when you read this but wait 'till you watch it. It almost made me cry :((

After the touching marathon of "May Bukas Pa" came "Maalaala Mo Kaya". GAWD! Ayoko na umiyak dahil sa T.V. but I can't help it. Nakakaiyak naman talaga kase. Ano baaaa. This was the first time I was having a crying marathon because of T.V. shows. HAHAHAHA! Ewan ko ba. Lumabas lang siguro senti side ko kase di man lamang ako nagconfession or even fasting ngayong Holy Week, so far. GUILTY!

Anyways, that episode of MMK was about sacrifice, again. There was this couple who are devout Catholics. Although the mother (Rio Locsin) find it hard to labor, he managed to give birth to two sons. According to what I have seen, they described her sons as the "almost" perfect ones: good-looking, intelligent, malambing, mabait, religous and things like that. The time came when their financial needs was at its peak and the father (Ricky Davao) went to Saudi to work and the elder son (Carlo Aquino) gave up his jar of ipon to help lessen their debts. But the real burden was when the elder son was diagnosed with brain tumor. In the process, his eyesight became blurred; his lower body became paralzed; he lost his eyesight and also, it sparked sibling jealousy since all attention was given to the elder son. The younger one still did not understand anything. All they knew was he was only having a migraine, nothing serious. The death of the elder one made me shed my tears. May 14, 2000. Nakakaiyak talaga. :(( Months after the death of the firstborn, the second one was having a terrible fever. He was diagnosed with leukemia. She could not believe, she was devastated. Three days after he was diagnosed, he died, so sudden. She did not know what to feel. In the ordeal of her first-born, she was given time to prepare herself but here, no, there was no time to be ready. Her wounds are still deep. The memories are still fresh and she still haven't move and so sudden did this death came. It left her speechless. But there was nothing they could do.

I am not a big fan of T.V. shows but it was sooo good :D Let me see if tonight's shows will make me teary-eyed, again. x)

i don't care.

I feel I'm not good enough. I'm just a newbie in this blog-thing and almost everyone I knew about this already discouraging me. *sighs* My grammar might not be too good and my posts are not really a fad but this is some sort of diary, right? It doesn't matter as long as I'm putting my thoughts into writing. I thought it's like in a confession where I could express everything and be anonymous without being criticized for being myself. But it turned out to be otherwise. I find it hard to be liberal, I can't type down the words and phrases that I really want to be read. Why?
I fear criticism. I fear rejection.

When I first, officially, opened up my blog to the world through y!m, I got the first message: "Bonggang-bonggang blog!" I thought it was a complement but it was not. Tss... But what's worse is if your own sibling tells you, "Nagba-blog-blog ka pa, wala namang kwenta. Tignan nalang naten kung maaasikaso mo pa yan pag fourth year ka na." There's a truth in it, that I might not manage this thing when the school year starts pero kelangan ba talaga sabihin na walang kwenta ang pagsusulat ko? It's like stabbing me because writing is my passion and telling me that my sharing my thoughts are just a waste of time, it makes me depressed >.< So much for being a sister. I'm exerting effort in my blog and I don't care if you'll give it a damn. Thank you for the people who encouraged me in my blogging. Thank you Jazmine and Julian :)

hating this.

I should be happy and rejoicing with all my heart right now. Well, its summer. It is a break from the studies, late-night movie marathons, NONSTOP EATING!LOL!, But, jeez, I did not expect it to be sooooo boring. Crap~! Actually, I made up brewed up some plans to make it more productive than last year's vacation which was rather dull. All I did last vacation was live a pig's life. My routine: wake up, eat, move a little, sleep, wake up, eat, use the computer and it goes on and on. Anyways, this was my summer plans SUPPOSEDLY.HAHA~! btw, these were "texted" down in my trusty cellphone.LOL~!

SUMMER PLANS!

1. Get a JOB, a summer job
Since my piggy bank is broken down, bankrupted in short, I needed to have some cash. Who doesn't want money anyway? No one I suppose. To have some gimmick, I DESPERATELY need some cash.LOL~! We tried to inquire at the nearest McDo, our favorite hangout! But, it turned us down. They only offer kiddie worshops and absolutely, I am no kid. Not at all. Next stop was Japok! Fortunately, they do offer summer jobs but we need to submit a resume. And we still haven't got one. After a few days of intense thinking, I decided. I WON'T GET A JOB!HAHAHAHA! It's not that I'm lazy and wants to sleep all day but it's because I'm barely 15y/o. And do you think they would entrust a real-time job to a 14y/o? Nah! More probably, they would hire a person more capable to do that, the older ones of course. But I'm not bitter, not anymore.

2. UPCAT Review-- it should actually be College Entrance Review but since UPCAT is so popular, I better make use of it.haha!
I'm an incoming Senior. And I'm so darn pissed. HAHAHA! I know it sounds, uhm, weird? But really, I still don't want to be a senior. In three months, my last ten months in highschool will unfold before my very eyes and I'm not ready for it. Aside from that, I don't want to take those entrance exams. They make me want to stay up at night, magsunog ba ng kilay? haay, parang quarterly exams lang. Yun nga lang, x10 ang pressure. And those blogs, oh! They remind me of that very thing, the nervous feeling of taking up entrance exams. They got me thinking about my college life.

What college will I end up? I'm choosing between three universities and I don't know which one to choose. Ang aga ko mangarap! Di pa nga nakakapasa, naghahangad na. Call me a dreamer but I really wanted to end up in one of these schools.

a. Ateneo- WOAH! I really like here. I'd take up Journalism if it did happen. It's simply elite. A top choice! They got good facilities and everything! But then, GAWD! Studying in Ateneo might break my piggy bank. But who says dreaming is a crime?

b. UST- I also badly wanted to be a Thomasian. I don't know why. Maybe it's because of my peers. Maybe it's their 400 years of existence? Or maybe not? It's like UST got a big magnetic pull that attracts thousands of graduates! Once, I was asked, "Baket ba madami may gusto sa UST?" I was speechless, for me myself am craving to be in that school and I can't figure it out why I'm wanting it. Whatever happens, I'll take up Industrial Design when I study here. Do you know that course? If you'll be an Industrial designer, then you are a person that designs things for Industrial use. Gets? I mean, your job is to design furnitures and stuff. It also includes food packaging and all sorts of packaging. If art and design is your passion, it will be sisiw for you. It's a real deal!

c. UP- Another dream school! But I'm still thinking about entering this one. My parents don't like it for me. My dad (actually, papa ang tawag ko sa tatay ko but since blog 'to, i-english ko na. HAHAHAHA!) was once an Iskolar ng Bayan but he transfered to UST. He said that fraternities and sororities there will just make my grades slip. But I really, really wanted to be an Iskolar. *sighs* Oh, I just want to share something. Have you heard of a pambara for UST? It says, "What is 400 years of existence with 100 years of excellence?" LOOOL~! It got me thinking what's the 400 years of existence for?

I've got to study for these schools. But I'm too lazy. LOL~! We planned to have a group review instead of paying thousands for some 1-month review sessions. But I think our group review will not push through. No one's interested. Probably, I'll end up studying alone at home.

3. House-hopping
It's our barkada's favorite pastime. We hip and hop from house to house! HAHA! We want to explore. We are curious creatures. And of course, we want something to have our bellies filled with. WE WANT TO HAVE FUN! The food trips are just bonuses.

4. Movie Marathon
TV won't satisfy me. The shows simply sucks, I can't stand it. I missed going to the movies. But what's the use of pirated DVDs? At just 65php, you will get a DVD with 45 movies in it! Cheap? Nah! It's called being smart. Unfortunately, the DVD player broke down. And that means goodbye DVD marathons. :'(

5. Badminton training
I'm a badminton varsity and I do hope that I will still be next school year even though I haven't held a badminton racket for 7 months. LOL~! It was seven months since the AAPS tournament took place and that was the only time I trained in the varsity. I'm just too engrossed with my academic standing that I forgot all about my other responsibilities, say my varsity responsibilities. And this summer, I'm making up for the lost time. I'll be training aspiring varsities for the next year. I do hope that they will learn something from me though for me myself, I haven't played it seriously for months. HAHA!

6. Diet plan
Okay, I've gained weight, especially during the exams! And I am still gaining. I can't stand reviewing without taking a break to eat something. And after the exam, I still can't control myself to stop eating. You see, we have these two plastic containers, and they are BIG food containers. When I'm hungry, usually I roam around first then I go straight ahead to those two BIG food containers. It's full of heaven, btw. There are wafers, chocolates, biscuits and all the other good stuff. But right now, the they are empty :D which is a semi-good thing. And ridiculous as it sounds, I'm doing those aerobics exercises. LOL~! It's called a desperate move.

7. Library-hopping
You might think I'm a nerd eh? Still wanting to lounge around the library won't make anyone nerd, seriously. The library is full of stuff, full of original ideas I suppose. Ideas that might make my summer more err, bearable. Besides, we've planned (again) that we will be doing our UPCAT studies in those old libraries but it seems to be hopeless. I don't want to go there all by myself. I'd rather be bored here at home. LOL~!

Out of these seven plans, I think, and I do hope that at least two will happen. *sighs* This will be one long summer...
