That got me thinking. What if I just walked past you when you said Hi? What if I ignored the countless texts? That wouldn't be me right now. If I did all that, maybe, just maybe, I'm still this more ambitious person I was. You put me out of my track and changed everything. I don't know if I'll be thankful. If I didn't get the chance to meet you, things wouldn't have been like this. Looking back, I was really different. Meeting you, I lost my aspirations, I exposed myself to other people's resentment, I broke free from conformism but most of all, I knew how it was to be happy. Happiness has a price. It always has a price tag with it and sometimes you just got to lose everything for the sake of it, for happiness' sake. It was the sweetest downfall.
