puppy love.

All of us might vaguely, if not vividly, remember those younger years when we had our err, uh, first love? It drew butterflies to other stomachs, made countless hot afternoons bearable and filled our minds with daydreaming of, well, tying the knot. Considering the young age, it is inevitable that one will already look at the future too fast, too naive.

Little Johnny and Susie are only kids, but they just know that they are in love. One day they decide that they want to get married, so Johnny goes to Susie's father to ask him for her hand.
Johnny bravely walks up to him and says, "Mr. Smith, me and Susie are in love and I want to ask you for her hand in marriage."
Thinking that this was the cutest thing, Mr. Smith replies, "Well Johnny, you are only 10. Where will you two live?"
Without even taking a moment to think about it, Johnny replies, "In Susie's room. It's bigger than mine and we can both fit there nicely."
Still thinking this is just adorable; Mr. Smith says with a huge grin, "Okay then how will you live? You're not old enough to get a job. You'll need to support Susie."
Again, Johnny instantly replies, "Our allowance...Susie makes 10 bucks a week and I make 20 bucks a week. That's about 120 bucks a month, and that should do us just fine."
By this time Mr. Smith is a little shocked that Johnny has put so much thought into this. So, he thinks for a moment trying to come up with something that Johnny won't have an answer to.
After a second, Mr. Smith says, "Well Johnny, it seems like you have got everything all figured out. I just have one more question for you. What will you do if the two of you should have little ones of your own?"
Johnny just shrugs his shoulders and says, "Well, we've been lucky so far..."

It is a bit err, rude but I did find it cute at first. That is what I got when I searched for "marrying + kid jokes". Anyway, I hope you get the picture. That is what young love brings. I can't help but laugh whenever I remember myself...uh, let's stop here. Enough with the details.x)

I was so thrilled with my younger sister. She had this playmate named Miguel. I dunno what's with them but they look cute.x) And yeah! They do show some signs which are somewhat disturbing O.o

How it all started?

*Shanice goes to mama & tells her something*
Shanice: Mama!
Mama: Yes Shanice?
Shanice: Mama, na-hug ako ni Miguel. Ganito o. (makes a hugging action)

We found it quite normal at first since they were kids, not until the second time around.

*Shanice goes to mama & tells her something, again*
Shanice: Mama!
Mama: Yes Shanice?
Shanice: Mama, na-kiss ako ni Miguel dito. (points to her cheek)
Mama: Shanice, wag ka magpapakiss o magpapahug kay Miguel. Okay?
Shanice: *nods*

It never did happened again but it seems that Shanice became attracted to the boy...

Whenever she hears the kids outside playing, she wants to go out. If not allowed, she'll be throwing tantrums. If still, she is not heard or heeded, she would open the window and peek. Then, she will be calling her playmates, "Hi Miguel, Hi Avri..." Desperate. Just awhile ago, she went inside just to say, "Mama, na-horse Miguel" which meant if we could lend her rocking horsey toy to Miguel. Now that's really weird. I knew her for being so possessive and madamot then she suddenly starts to let Miguel borrow her toys?

And all along, during supper, she would be telling stories about her playmates, especially Miguel, although I don't really understand a word except Derrick, Avri, Celio and Miguel. Really freaky. That's puppy love, I guess. It changes you.
